Speaker Overview: Back On / Off Switch PH-BT1000 Line-ln Audio Jack Micro USB Charging Port PH-BT1000 Charging your Speaker Before using your new wireless portable speaker, please charge it using the Micro USB charging cable included in the package. Preferred charging method is through a computer USB port. For optimal AC charging, please use a 5v i .OA use charger. Plug the small Micro USE pin into the charging port on the back of the speaker, and the other end of the cable (the standard USB 2.0 plug) into any standard USB port (such as a computer or USB Charger). The LED indicator light will turn red when it is being charged When it is fully charged. the LED indicator light will turn blue. Afull charge takes about 3-4 hours The speaker can be charged while playing music. The battery of the speaker Will be charged until the charging process completes. If the speaker is being powered by AC input directly the battery Will go into sleep mode after it is fully charged. Connect the speaker with the audio cable that is included in the package to any device with a 3.5MM standard audio jack. Once connected the speaker can be used as a Wired speaker. Please note: the TALK. PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS & NEXT, VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons only work when connected Wirelessly Via Eluetooth In the case of a Wired connection. music can only be controlled on your deVice. Battery Status on iPhone®and iPad® When the speaker is connected to an iFhone’or iPad'Via Bluetooth. the battery status otthe speaker can be displayed on the top of the iPhone‘liPadmscreen, afterthe Bluetooth symbol. This makes it easy to know when to plug in your speaker to keep the music going orto charge up the battery. Bluetooth battery status 7 . 9:41AM t gust a PH-BT1000 Pairing your Device 1) Make sure the PH-BTtOOO is fully charged. 2) Enable Bluetooth your Bluetooth deVice (iPhone'. iPadftablet). Bluetooth controls are typically found in the tools or settings menu. Turn on Bluetooth connectiVity and make sure yourdeVice is "Visr Ie" or "discoverable." 3) Turn on your new PH-BTtOOO by swdching the button on the back of the speaker to "On". 4) After turning on the PH-BTtODO, the LED lights should alternate between shining red and blue. This signals that the Speaker is in "pairing mode". 5) Choose "add new Bluetooth device" or "setup Bluetooth device" on your device. It will search for the PH-BTiDOO. 6) As your Bluetooth deVice discovers possible items to connect to, it will list their names. Select the device named PH-BT1000 This Will connect your speaker to your Eluetooth demo. 7)” the pairing attempt fails or times out (roughly 3 minutes), restart both deVices and start the pairing process again (Steps 2 - 6). 8) Once paired successfully, the LED indicator lights will turn blue and blink tWice every 3 seconds. 9) Enyoy your music wirelessly anywhere you go! 4 PH-BT1000 Controlling your Music Once your speaker is connected to a Bluetooth deVice (mobile phone, tablet, PC. or laptop etc). you are free to control your music anyway you waritl Press the Volume UP and Volume DOWN button to increase or decrease the volume. There will be a reminder tone “du du du " when the speaker is at maximum or minimum volume. Pressing the Volume UP and DOWN buttons only increases or decreases the volume of the speaker, but it does not increase or decrease the volume of the Bluetooth cleVice. Volume can also be adjusted from the Bluetooth deVices (sound source). To SWitch to the preVious or next song simply press the FreVious and Next button on the speaker. This will switch to the previous/next song in the playlist of the Bluelooth device Press the Play/Pause button on the speaker to start or pause songs Please note that the PreVious. Next, and Play/Pause buttons can only control the music playing from the default music playing software on the Bluetooth deVices. lfthe music playing software is not the default player. the music may not be able to be controlled via these 3 buttons. And the Play button may start another song in the playlist ofthe default player. PH-BT1000 Answering Calls You can use the PHrBTlOOO as a portable speakerphone for incoming calls when connected Wirelessly Via Bluetooth. To answer a call, press the TALK button and talk as you would with your device if it was on “speakerphone" mode The built in microphone Will pick up your voice Just like a phone To end a call. press the TALK button again. To refuse a call, press and hold the TALK button for 2 seconds. You can re-dial the last number called by double pressing the TALK button. Using Siriw When the speaker is connected to an iPhone/iPad Via Bluetooth press and hold the TALK button for 3 seconds to activate the Siri function on iPhohe'liPad. Then talk to the speaker after hearing the ‘Siri‘ sound. Please note that iPhone/iPadmay not be able to reco nize human speech when the speaker is being used' in a noisy environment Siri may not work if iPhone‘iiPa is not connected to the intemet. When the Siri conversation is finished, the speaker Will continue playing audio.
