Cambium Fixed Outdoor Radio Module Assembly instructions for Professional Installers
Force 300
1. Insert FCCID: Z8H89FT0017 into Cambium housing.
a. 2dBi integrated configuration does not use dish.
2. Connect dish cover and secure screw to radio assembly.
3. Open side cover of enclosure for POE access.
4. Plug in Ethernet cable from POE injector to power the device:
a. Connect via computer to IP address 192.168.0.1
b. Login to radio via GUI
c. Enter password
i. Contains FCCid (Z8H89FT0017) is visible on the GUI system tab and not alterable
by third parties
ii. United States region code is also Locked and visible on the monitor/wireless tab
Factory programming above is secure, locked and not alterable by any third parties.
Parameters below may be changed by professional installers.
d. Select Configuration / Radio tab on GUI:
i. Enter antenna gain 25dBi for dish or 2dBi for dipole.
ii. Select carrier frequency and or alternate frequency as desired within certified
range.(5725-5850MHz,5150-5250MHz.
iii. Set channel bandwidth: widest 80MHz, narrowest bandwidth 20MHz.
iv. Select combined power in dBm (from -20 up to +29)
v. Select up to the maximum DL/UL ratio
vi. Save configuration by clicking the save icon
5. Install complete assembly at final location.

antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed such that a minimum separation distance of 20cm is
maintained between the radiator (antenna) and all persons at all times and must not be co-located or
operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
This Cambium module has been certified under the following conditions:
1) The antennas must be installed such that a minimum separation distance of 20cm is maintained
between the antenna and all persons at all times.
2) The transmitter module must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna
or transmitter.
If these conditions are met then further testing will not be required.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void
the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Review the user manual for antenna information and safe minimum R.F. exposure distances.
End Product Labelling:
The Cambium Module is labelled with its own FCC ID. If the FCC ID is not visible when the module is
installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also
display a label referring to the enclosed module. In that case, the final end product must be labelled in a
visible area with the following:
Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: Z8H89ft0017or “Contains FCC ID: Z8H-89ft0017
The OEM of the Cambium Module must only use the approved antenna(s) listed in the user
manual, which have been certified with this module.
The OEM integrator has to be aware not to provide information to the end user regarding
how to install or remove this RF module or change RF related parameters in the user manual of
the end product.
