Limited Modular Approval (LMA) –Internal Integration User Manual for FCC ID: HBW8522 and IC: 2666A-8522 Please note that the Wi-Fi Marvell Module MW300, FCC ID: HBW8522 / ISED HVIN/PMN MW300, IC: 2666A-8522, is meant only to be utilized within The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (i.e., Grantee only) only. Hence, Chamberlain Group does not sell this module externally to other manufacturers. As the Marvell Wi-Fi Module MW300 intended to-be soldered to other hosts, The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (CGI) will evaluate all new hosts via FCC/IC Class 2 Permissive Change (C2PC) to the Limited Modular Approval. This includes the need for additional testing. Should the Wi-Fi Marvell Module MW300 be modified in any way, per FCC Part 15.21, modifications may void authorization of the LMA as re-testing may be necessary and either class II permissive change or new grant of authorization and ISED certification shall be obtained. When this module is used in a host device and class II permissive change is obtained the final product must contain the following information:  CGI will mark the host product with a string like “contains FCC ID: HBW8522 and IC: 2666A-8522”.  This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules and Industry Canada/ISED (IC) RSS-247. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.  In the host product user manual a warning statement similar to the following shall be used: changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.  Additional warning regarding minimum separation distance shall be used as well. This or similar statement shall be used: The end user must ensure that the minimum separation distance of 20 cm between the device and all users or bystanders is maintained at all times.
