FOXPRO Systems  14 Peace Drive Lewistown, PA 17044    (717)248-2507REMOTE CONTROL USERemote System DescriptionThe antenna jack is located toward the rear along-side the handle.  Plug the antenna in there. A local -remote switch is installed opposite the charge jack.  This slide switch, when in the “up” position, selects radioremote operation.  When this switch is in the “down” position, the caller can be used in the normal mode ofoperation.  Note that the rear panel selector switch must be set to the “0” position while using remotecontrol.  Failure to do this will result in improper operation and will cause increased battery drain.The transmitter is housed in a rugged plastic case, and is powered by a 9-volt battery.  Three push-buttons are located on the front panel for Mute, Volume - Up, and Volume - Down.  In addition, a BCD push-button switch is located on the top surface to select the sound.  A red LED on the top surface illuminates whenany of the three push-buttons is depressed.OperationOn the caller, set the rear panel selector switch to the “0” position.  Place the slide switch to the “up”position.  Turn on the caller and set the volume to maximum.  On the transmitter, push the “VOL UP” or “VOLDN” to set the volume to the desired level.  The sound can be muted or silenced by depressing the “MUTE”button.  Push this button again to unmute the sound. To change the sound, first select the appropriate number onthe transmitter sound switch, then briefly depress the “VOL UP” push-button.  You may also need to press the“MUTE” button as the unit may power up with mute active. Greater range will result if you can elevate thecaller by setting it on a rock, a stump, a fence post, or a bush.  Maximum range occurs with both antennasvertical.Remember that the rear panel sound selector switchmust be in the “ 0”  position for proper remoteoperation.FCC StatementThis equipment complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.  Operation is subject to the following two conditions:(1) this equipment may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this equipment must accept any interferencereceived, including interference that may cause undesired operation.  If this equipment does cause harmfulinterference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, theuser is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:* Reorient or relocate the antenna of the radio or television receiver being interfered with.* Increase the separation between the equipment and the radio or television antenna.* Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/television technician for help.The user is cautioned that changes or modifications made to the equipment without the approval of themanufacturer could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
