  surroundings	
  and	
  obtain	
  best	
  alignment	
  toward	
  desired	
  access	
  
point

Installation	
  to	
  be	
  performed	
  by	
  a	
  professional	
  to	
  ensure	
  proper	
  alignment	
  and	
  
optimum	
  performance.	
  	
  
  
Installation	
  Instructions	
  
1. Unpack	
  the	
  box.	
  	
  Contained	
  elements	
  
a. Main	
  Unit:	
  CPE	
  SWC-­‐200	
  
b. Power	
  supply	
  
c. Outdoor	
  Antenna	
  
d. Coax	
  cable:	
  	
  2	
  coax	
  cables	
  with	
  15	
  feet	
  length.	
  	
  Shipped	
  with	
  minimum	
  
coax	
  loss	
  of	
  	
  at	
  least	
  4	
  dB.	
  	
  Should	
  the	
  distance	
  between	
  antenna	
  and	
  
modem	
  be	
  larger	
  than	
  15	
  feet,	
  use	
  a	
  different	
  coax	
  with	
  less	
  loss	
  such	
  
that	
  the	
  total	
  loss	
  is	
  at	
  least	
  	
  4	
  dB.	
  
e. Indoor	
  antennas:	
  	
  One	
  WIFI	
  antenna	
  to	
  be	
  installed	
  
f. Phone	
  cable	
  
g. Lan	
  cable.	
  
2. Place	
  the	
  outdoor	
  antenna	
  outside	
  the	
  premises	
  in	
  a	
  location	
  that	
  has	
  best	
  
signal	
  from	
  AP.	
  
3. Connect	
  the	
  coax	
  cables	
  to	
  the	
  outdoor	
  antenna.	
  	
  It	
  is	
  recommended	
  to	
  place	
  
weather	
  proof	
  around	
  the	
  connection	
  of	
  the	
  antenna	
  and	
  coax.	
  
4. Connect	
  the	
  other	
  end	
  of	
  the	
  coax	
  cables	
  to	
  the	
  SWC-­‐200	
  CPE	
  that	
  is	
  placed	
  
inside	
  the	
  premises	
  
5. Connect	
  the	
  WIFI	
  antenna	
  to	
  the	
  middle	
  port	
  of	
  the	
  CPE	
  that	
  shows	
  WIFI	
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
6. Connect	
  the	
  power	
  supply	
  to	
  the	
  CPE.	
  
7. Use	
  the	
  LAN	
  and	
  phone	
  cables	
  as	
  needed	
  to	
  connect	
  to	
  a	
  phone	
  or	
  to	
  network	
  
device.
