Do not burn or bury them. • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. • Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities. • If you do not plan to use the mouse for some time, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts. If your mouse is not working properly, pair your mouse to the receiver again. To clean your mouse, wipe with a damp cloth occasionally. It will take 3 to 4 seconds to pair. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. When pairing is successful, the mouse LED will flash then turn off. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. 3. Care and Service • Operate the mouse within 32.8ft (10m) of the receiver. • • Place the receiver into the mouse’s receiver slot when not in use. Glass, black velvet, or mirrored surfaces can disrupt the optical sensor. • Handle the mouse carefully; do not drop it. • Turn off the mouse to conserve battery life. • • See your operating system’s online help for additional mouse confi guration information. Do not modify or tamper with your mouse’s internal components. It may cause a malfunction and invalidate the warranty.
