Please read these Instructions
thoroughly before using the
FA-S76UC.

The optimum bandwidth is 18%
(approx.) of the tuned frequency.
To tune for optimum performance
at the center transmit frequency
of the radio.
Cutting Instructions
® Align the bottom of the anten-
na onto the 0 pasltlon of the
cutting guide diagram at left
®Mark the antenna at the
length corresponding to the
desired frequency to be
tuned.
®Cut the antenna at the
mark made In step ®4
- Use a wire cutter that can
cut at least 1.2 mm (d) oi
piano wire.
®Appiy adhesive to the top of
the antenna and attach the
supplied antenna cap.

Super-X No. 8008 black
(Icom parts number:
8950002910l or similar is
recommended.
NOTE:
The antenna cap must be attached
alter cutting, otherwise moisture might
damage the element.
