LOTUS PT-61L007 Getting Started Guide Important Ergonomic Information Long periods of repetitive motions using an improperly set-up workspace, incorrect body position, and poor work habits may be associated with physical discomfort and injury to nerves, tendons, and muscles. If you feel pain, numbness, weakness, swelling, burning, cramping, or stiffness in these areas, see a qualified health professional. Installation of the Mouse The USB receiver fits into the bottom of the mouse for storage. • Insert the 2 AAA batteries into the mouse • Simply plug your receiver into an open USB port to begin using your mouse. Note: for convenience and portability the receiver stores in the bottom of your mouse when not in use. Connecting the Mouse with the Receiver 1. Press the button on top of the receiver. 2. Press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse. Low Battery Light The low battery indicator on top of your mouse will blink red to indicate that the mouse needs to be recharged. Recharge your mouse batteries by using the integrated recharge cable inside the bottom of the mouse. Expected battery life is 2 to 3 months depending on usage. To extend battery life place the receiver in the bottom of the mouse when not in use. This will automatically turn your mouse off. How to recharge the mouse The USB charging cable is integrated into the bottom of the mouse 1. Open the battery door on the bottom of the mouse 2. Ease out the USB charging cable. Warning: the cable remains attached to the mouse, do dot force. 3. Plug the charging cable into a USB port on your computer (make sure computer is turned ON) 4. Close the battery door. Note: While charging, you can continue to use the mouse only if the USB receiver is also plugged into the computer. The cable is only a charging cable and cannot replace the wireless connection. Troubleshooting If your Wireless Mouse does not function properly, please review the following steps for troubleshooting. • Insure that the USB mini-receiver is properly inserted into your computer’s USB port. Try another USB port. • Keep the mouse within one meter (3 feet) of the receiver. Metallic surfaces will shorten transmission distances. • Try re-connecting the mouse with the receiver. Please see the section “Connecting the Mouse with the Receiver.” • If you find you are having problems (erratic or no movement) or if the low battery light blinks red, you will need to recharge the mouse. Please see the section “How to recharge”. Maintenance of your Mouse • You may clean the surface of the Mouse with a soft damp cloth. • Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaners. • Before using any chemical cleaners, please test the results on the bottom of the device.
