INTRODUCTION
Marley Engineered Products, manufacturer of Marley Builder
Products, is located in Bennettsville, SC. and offers a full line
of electric heating and ventilation products for the home and
office, providing comfort and piece of mind.
Comfort- Choose from an assortment of electric comfort
heating products. Take care of those cold spots in the house
with baseboard heaters. Warm that cold bathroom or entryway with a fan forced wall heater and spot heat the work
area with a radiant workshop heater.
Piece of mind- Use humidity sensing bath fans to ventilate moist air from bathrooms or ventilate the house with a
whole house fan. Protect the home from damaging heat and lessen the burden on the air conditioner with an attic
or gable ventilator. Remove harmful radon from the crawl space of your house with an inline vent and radon mitigation kit.
The following logos are used throughout this catalog. Use this legend for clarification.
Earning the ENERGY STAR means products meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental
Protection Agency and the Department of Energy.
ENERGY STAR qualified ventilation fans that include lighting use 65% less energy on average than standard models,
saving $120 in electricity costs over the life of the fan.
These fans are more than 50% quieter than standard models. They feature high performance motors and improved blade
design, providing better performance and longer life.
Choosing ENERGY STAR qualified products helps prevent global warming and promotes cleaner air.
Products that bear the HVI Tested/Certified label have been tested at independent HVI approved laboratories and
can be depended upon to perform to the ratings shown.
Indoor fans carry dual ratings for sound output as well as ventilating performance. ventilating performance is
given in CFM (cubic feet per minute) and sound ratings are listed in sones.
A sone is an internationally recognized measurement of sound which reports decibel levels in a simplified numbered scale
which corresponds to a persons perception of loudness. The sone measurement follows a linear scale, meaning double the
number is double the perceived loudness. One sone is about the equivalent of a quiet refrigerator.
These products are U.L. listed by Underwriters Laboratory, ensuring that the products have passed Underwriters
Laboratory’s rigorous testing procedures for electrical products and have been assigned the listing number
required for specific electrical codes in the US.

Marley Bath Fans are the easiest to install. Many models feature the patented snap-in junction box cover. This
feature serves two purposes: (1) allows fan to plug directly into box; no additional wiring needed, and (2) section
snaps out quickly to allow larger area to wiring.
Designated Marley Fans can be installed in a tub or shower enclosure when wired with a GFI protected circuit.

Ultra Quiet Environmental Series
Environmental Series Bath Fan/Light Models are Energy Star qualified. By using
highly efficient motors and lighting, Energy Star bath fans can, on average, consume
65% less energy than conventional fan or fan/light models and may qualify for local

The performance secrets of the 8000 Series are the heavy duty galvanized housing
fitted with high density acoustical insulation; a squirrel-cage blower designed for
optimum performance and sound properties; and a specially designed 4” duct
transition and back draft damper reduces noisy air turbulence. The high-impact
styrene grille and prism glass lens on fan/light models will complement a wide
range of decorating themes and its white color blends with most ceilings.

Quick Mount Bath Fans
Installation has never been easier.
Models A647B and MM647B offer the ultimate combination of economy and innovation. A new patent-pending Quick-Mount installation system helps reduce labor
costs. Now a bath fan installation can be done in minutes. The Quick-Mount system
holds and positions the integral mounting screws on the sturdy steel housing.
Simply position the housing against the ceiling joist using the stamped indicator
marks and drive or screw the pre-positioned mounting screws securely. Snap-out
the patented outlet box and connect the wiring. Connect the ducting and install the
spring fitted grille and the job is finished.
The Quick-Mount system holds and positions the
integral mounting screws on the sturdy steel
housing.

HBB - ELECTRIC HYDRONIC
BASEBOARD HEATERS
A sheathed electric heating element is totally immersed in a
heat-transfer liquid and sealed in a heater-length copper
tube. The large diameter reservoir maximizes the volume of
heat storage to prolong the thermal constant of the entire
heater. All available heat is delivered into the room with
strong convection flow. Gentle heat keeps radiating even
after the thermostat turns off because of the hydronic elements retention qualities.

QUALITY INSIDE AND OUT. Heavy-duty welded steel
louvered grilles discourage insertion of foreign objects and
direct heat outward into the room. Designer-style junction
boxes are made of high-strength Lexan® to resist scratches
and wear marks. Corrosion resistant aluminum fins are
pressure-fitted to copper tubing to assure rapid heat transfer
and air flow. Built-in thermal cut-off automatically shuts down
the heater should any overheating occur.

GO-ANYWHERE DESIGN. The entire unit mounts flush to
any wall and flat on any floor - wood, carpet or tile. The trim,
three-inch thick functional design and low operating temperatures allow carpeting to be installed up to and around the
baseboard. Efficient air flow is achieved even if the unit is
mounted above the floor.

Limited Warranty
All products manufactured by Marley Engineered Products are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for one year from date of
original installation or 18 months from date of manufacture, except special components which are warranted against defects in workmanship and
materials (see installation manual for specific warranties) from date of installation.This warranty does not apply to damage from accident, misuse
or alteration; nor where the connected voltage is more than 5% above the name plates voltage; nor to equipment improperly installed or wired or
maintained in violation of the product’s installation instructions. All claims for warranty work must be accompanied by proof of the installation or
purchase.
The customer shall be responsible for all costs incurred in the removal or reinstallation of products, including labor costs and shipping costs
incurred to return products to Marley Engineered Products Service Center. Within the limitations of this warranty, inoperative units should be
returned to the nearest Marley authorized service center or the Marley Engineered Products Service Center and we will repair or replace, at our
option, at no charge to you with return freight paid by Marley. It is agreed that such repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy available from
Marley Engineered Products. If the product requires replacement, but an identical model is no longer available, Marley Engineered Products will
select a comparable item.
The above warranties are in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose which exceed the aforesaid expressed warranties are hereby disclaimed and excluded from this agreement. Marley Engineered
Products shall not be liable for consequential damages arising with respect to the product, whether based upon negligence, tort, strict liability or
contract.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to
you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Merchandise returned to the factory must be accompanied by a return authorization and service identification tag, both available from Marley
Engineered Products. When requesting return authorization, include all numbers shown on the products.
