Place a battery (CR2354) inside the cover with the positive 2. (+) side facing the cover.Put the cover back in place. Turn the cover clockwise to close 3. it.Repeat for both transmitters.4. Mounting pedalSTo install the pedals, you will need a thin 18 mm wrench, an 8 mm Allen key and the pedal installation tool (provided in product box).Clean the crank contact surfaces and threads to avoid 1. damage. If there’s a groove on the crank or if the cranks are made 2. of carbon bre, place a spacer onto the pedal axle so that metal touches metal (picture 1). If you are unsure, mount the pedals with a spacer.Tighten the pedal onto the crank. Make sure the pedal axle 3. does not stick out (picture 2) and the mark on the pedal axle points downwards when the crank points forward (picture 2).Place the pedal installation tool into the pedal axle so that its 4. shaft is in line with the crank (picture 3).Hold the tool in place and tighten the pedal locknut with a 5. 18 mm wrench (picture 4). The recommended tightening torque is 35 Nm / 25.8 lbf-ft.Repeat for both pedals.6. The left pedal (marked with a line on the axle) has left-hand threads and needs to be installed counterclockwise. The right pedal has right-hand threads and needs to be installed clockwise.inStalling tranSMitterSRemove the protective cap from the transmitters.1. Place a transmitter into the pedal axle. Make sure the shape 2. of the transmitter matches with the shape inside the pedal axle (picture 1). Push the transmitter rmly but without too much force to avoid damage. Make sure the transmitter is positioned correctly (picture 2). 3. Position it again if needed.Pass a cable tie through the hole in the transmitter. Keep 4. the transmitter in place and tighten the cable tie around the crank (picture 2). Cut o excess ends. Repeat installation for both transmitters.5. When rotating the cranks, make sure the transmitters do not 6. hit any part of the bike or the chain while the chain is on the largest crank gear and the smallest cassette gear.The transmitters are marked with letters R (right) and L (left).
