Attempting to drive and scan for radio stations at the same time can cause a serious traffic accident! Please drive responsibly. Connect the Transmitter1. Plug the transmitter’s barrel plug into your car’s power outlet. The LED lights and the transmitter displays the last used frequency.2. Insert the stereo plug into the headphone jack of your portable audio device, such as a MP3 player or CD player. Note: If the plug does not fit, try the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter.Tune Your RadioTune your FM radio to the frequency displayed on the transmitter.Listen to Your MusicUse the sound controls on your connected audio device to listen to music. If the sound is distorted, you can tune your transmitter and radio to a new frequency. See “Tuning the Transmitter.”12-494Auto-scanning a FrequencyHold down Auto Scan to automatically search for an unused frequency with the least interference. This may take about 30 seconds.Manually Tuning a Frequency1.  Hold down 2M until M1, M2 and M3 flash on the screen.2.  Press, but do not hold down 1) or 3( to find the desired frequency.3.  Wait until the display stops flashing.Saving and Selecting FrequenciesTo save a displayed frequency:1.  Hold down 2M until M1, M2 and M3 flash on the display.2.  Hold down 1), 2M or 3( for 2 seconds to store the frequency to M1, M2 or M3.Press 1), 2M or 3( to select a saved frequency.
