4. Charging 1). First time, please charge the device for no less than 2 hours to make sure the headset is fully charged and the battery reach it's full capacity. 2). Afterwards, each charge cycle may take 2 hours around. 3). LED will indicated red in charging and off when charging is complete. 4). If you have not use the item for a few months, LED might not turn red when first charging. It might take few minutes before the LED turn red. 5). Low voltage of battery: When the voltage of the battery goes down to 3.3V, the red LED will flash every 10 seconds; when the voltage goes down to 3.0V, the headset will power off automatically. Notice: Suggest to use only the charger provided, do not use chargers from any other devices as it might damage the device. BS890 5. Turn On/Off Bluetooth Stereo Headset Comfortable Wearing for sports/outdoor use Turn on: From off, press and hold the “MFB” for 3 seconds until blue LED light 2 seconds. Turn off: From On, press and hold the “MFB” for 3 seconds until red LED light 2 seconds. 6. Pairing Bluetooth Headset to Mobile Phone Pairing is the process of connecting your headset with your mobile phone. Before using the headset with your mobile phone, you must pair both devices. If you wish to use your headset with a different mobile phone, you must reinstate the pairing process with your intended Bluetooth mobile phone. a). Ensure the headset is off. b). Switch to pairing mode by holding into the “MFB” button for 6 seconds until LED blinks Blue and Red alternately. c). Turn on the mobile phone and place it within 1 meter to the headset. d). Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone and search for accessible Bluetooth device by referring to your mobile phone user guide for details. e). Select “ BT Stereo” from the list. f ). Enter the pre-programmed code “0000” and press “OK” to pair the headset and the phone. When pairing is completed, the blue and red LED stop flashing, the headset is under the standby mode with the blue LED flashes in every 10 seconds. g). Press “ Return” to go back to your mobile phone's main menu. Please place the mobile phone and the headset within 10 meters sensing distance. Bluetoth Stereo Headset is the ideal choice for active pursuits such as jogging and exercising. 3. Appearance and Function your headset. Note: If the pairing cannot be completed within 2 minutes after the pairing mode is activated, the headset will power off automatically. Please repeat steps above to pair the headset and mobile phone again. Once paired and connected, the headset will be automatically connected to your phone whenever you turn the headset on again. 7. Connection/Link between Headset and Mobile Phone After paired is completed, headset is always under standby mode. Before you place or answer a call, if the headset icon is not shown on phone screen, please follow the steps below to activate the Bluetooth connection/link through your mobile phone or headset until the headset icon is on the screen. 1). On phone: Select the “BT Headset“ from the paired list on your phone screen. 2). On headset: Turn on the headset again and the headset will connect last paired device automatically. 8. NFC Position In standby mode, put the mobile phone closed to headset NFC position, the headset will into pairing mode automatically and prompt “are connect?” from mobile phone, then press “ OK” on phone screen to connected with headset. Headset closed to mobile phone again, will be disconnected automatically. Closed again, will be connected automatically. Note: Please make sure your mobile phone supporting NFC function. Functionality varies depending on the mobile phone models. Please refer to your mobile phone user guide for details. 9. Disconnection between Headset and Mobile Phone When you need to connect your headset with another Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, please follow the steps below to disconnect the headset with the pre-paired mobile phone. 1) Power off the Headset. 2) Select “ Disconnecting” on the Bluetooth device list of your mobile phone to remove the connection. Note: When losing the connection/link, the headset will be automatically power off in 10 minutes. 10. Using the Headset 1). Answering calls: When receiving a phone call, press the “MFB "button to answer a call. 2). Ending calls: Press the “MFB "button to end a call. 3). Reject calls: When receiving a phone call, press and hold “ MFB” button for 2 seconds to reject the call. 4). Voice Dial: If your mobile phone is voice dialing enabled, under standby mode, press the “V+” and “V-“ buttons once and say the voice tag after you hear a beep. Note: Please make sure to record voice tag into the mobile phone before using voice dial function. Functionality varies depending on the mobile phone models. Please refer to your mobile phone user guide for details. 5). Last number Re-Dialing: Under standby mode, short press the “MFB” button twice for last number redial. 6). Adjusting the volume: During a call , press the “V+” or “V-“ button repeatedly until you reach the desired volume level. 7). Mute & Un-Mute (During a conversation): Mute the microphone: press and hold “V-” button for 4 seconds. Un-Mute: press and hold “V-“ button for 4 seconds again. 8). Transferring calls: a. Headset to Mobile phone: During a call, press and hold the “MFB” button for 3 seconds, the call is routed to your mobile phone. b. Mobile phone to Headset: Press and hold the “MFB” button to route the call to headset. 9). Reject the second call: During a call, short press “V+” button once to reject the second incoming call. 10). Hold the call: During a call, short press the “MFB“ button twice to hold the phone call. Short press the “MFB” button twice again to resume conversation. 11). Answer the second call: a. During conversation in progress, short press the “MFB” button once to pick up the second call and ending the first call. b. During conversation in progress, short press the “MFB” button twice to pick up the second call and first call on hold. 12). Switch between 2 phone calls: During two calls in progress, short press the “MFB” button twice to swap calls. 11. Music Streaming Your Bluetooth Stereo Headset is capable of high fidelity stereo playback on A2DP enabled mobile phones/Audio devices. Please refer to your mobile phone/Audio device user guide for more information. 1). Start Audio Playback: Press “MFB” button once to play music. To Pause, simple press “MFB” button once again. 2). Previous/Next Track: Previous Track: Long press the volume“V -” button for 2 seconds; Next Track: Long press the volume“V +”button for2 seconds. 3). Adjusting the Volume: During music playing, press the “V+” or “V-“ button repeatedly until you reach the desired volume level. 4). Answering a call when playing music: Press the “MFB” button and the call will be connected. Audio playback is put on mute when there are incoming calls from the active connection. The audio playback resumes as soon as the call is terminated. (Dependent on your device supporting this feature). 12. Restore the factory default settings To restore your headset to its factory default setting, press and hold “V+” or “V-“ button for 8 seconds until both Blue & Red LED flash alternately, then press “MFB” button for 3 seconds to power off the headset to completed the setting. 13. Care and Maintenance 1). Consider turning your headset off before placing it in your pocket or bag. If the “MFB” is accidentally depressed, your mobile handset may place an unintended call. 2). Do not expose the headset to liquid, moisture or humidity, as it is not waterproof. 3). Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the headset. 4). Do not place the headset in high temperature, as it will result in an explosion. 5). Do not expose the headset to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratching and damage. 6). Do not stick anything inside the headset as this may damage internal components. 7). Do not attempt to disassemble the headset, as it does not contain serviceable components. 14. Safety Information 1). Check local laws regarding use of a mobile handset and headset while driving. If you use the headset while driving, ensure your attention and focus remains on your responsibility of driving safety. 2). Never allow children to play with the headset. Small parts may be a choking hazard. 3). Observe all signs that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in the designated areas. These could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially explosive atmospheres. 4). Turn off your headset prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not use your headset in an aircraft. 5). Never mount or store your headset over any air bag deployment area serious injury may result when an air bag deploys. 6). Do not open or mutilate the built-in battery. 15.
