10W-100W UHF Translator Chapter 2, System Description & Remote Control Connections Pioneer, UHF Translator, Rev. 0 2-1 IF Processor Module LO/Upconverter Module Chapter 2 System Description & Remote Control Connections The Pioneer Series of translators are complete 10W to 100W analog UHF translators that operate at nominal visual output power of 10 to 100 watts peak sync and an aural output power of 1 to 10 watts at an A/V ratio of 10dB, 10% sound or .5 to 5 watts at 13 dB, 5% sound. 2.1 System Overview The Pioneer Series translator is made up of a Receiver Tray and an exciter amplifier chassis assembly. The modules and assemblies that make up the translator are listed in Table 2-1.
