Use the fall detection sensor test procedure(it is included in the instructions). Do nottry to test the unit by falling down onpurpose - you might get hurt!I dropped the pendant on the floor and itdid not alarm. Why not? The pendant experiences different forceswhen you fall as compared to when it isdropped by itself on the floor. The pendantis programmed to ignore most of theshocks if you drop it on the counter or floorto reduce false alarms. It may still alarmfor a fall some of the time when you dropthe unit - just not every time.I cannot fix the problem. Call the Monitoring Center for assistanceas soon as possible.
