This document serves as a comprehensive guide for installing and utilizing your KeepTruckin Vehicle Gateway (ELD). It is designed to assist fleet managers, drivers, and installers with the setup and operation of the device.

Quick Installation Overview
- Download the Driver App: Available on Android and iOS. Visit keeptruckin.com/driver-app for more details.
- Connect your Vehicle Gateway: Ensure the vehicle's engine is off and the parking brake is engaged. Connect the Vehicle Gateway to the vehicle's diagnostic port using the provided cable.
- Mount your Vehicle Gateway: Clean the mounting location with the provided alcohol wipes for optimal adhesion.
- Start your engine: The Vehicle Gateway's left-side LED will turn green when ready.
- Connect your device: Open the KeepTruckin Driver App and connect to your vehicle. The right-side LED will turn green upon successful connection.

Ensure all cabling is securely fastened and clear of pedals. Inspect devices and cables regularly to confirm they remain securely attached. Never use the KeepTruckin Driver App or device while the vehicle is in motion.

Connection Options
The Vehicle Gateway can be connected using a Direct Cable or a Splitter Cable. Refer to the diagrams for detailed connection information.
Mounting Locations
Acceptable mounting locations for the Vehicle Gateway vary by vehicle make, model, and year. Common locations include:
- On top of the dash
- Under the footwell
- Adjacent to the radio
- Behind the glove box
- Behind the instrument cluster
