Before using
Please read through the following contents before using.
Safety Precautions
� Please connect this to a USB-A port supplying 5V, 500mA power. � This product's stand may not be able to fit on your laptop or display screen. � If you are unable to fit the stand on, please place it on a flat surface. � Please ensure that this product is placed such that the cable is not pulled taut when using. If the
cable is pulled taut, this product may fall off when the cable is caught and pulled. This may cause damage to the product and surrounding devices. � When changing the direction of the camera, please ensure that you hold down the stand portion while moving it. Moving it forcibly may cause the product to fall from where it is placed. This may cause damage to the product and surrounding devices. � Please do not place the camera on an uneven or slanted place. This product may fall off the unstable surface. This may cause damage to the product and surrounding devices. � Please do not attach the camera to soft items or structurally weak parts. This product may fall off the unstable surface. This may cause damage to the product and surrounding devices.
Precautions
� Please do not touch the lens using your fingers. If there is dust on the lens, use a lens blower to remove it. � Video calls above VGA size may not be possible depending on the chat software you use. � Depending on the internet environment you are using, you may not be able to use every software. � Sound quality and video processing may not perform well depending on your hardware's
processing capabilities. � Due to the nature of this product and depending on your computer, your computer may stop
recognising this product when it enters standby, hibernation or sleep mode. When in use, cancel settings for standby, hibernation or sleep mode. � If the PC does not recognise this product, disconnect it from the PC and try connecting it again. � When using the camera, please do not set the computer to battery-saving mode. When switching your computer to battery-saving mode, please end the application that the camera is using first. � This product is made for Japanese domestic use. Warranty and support services are not available for use of this product outside of Japan. * This product uses USB2.0. It does not support USB1.1 interface.
Cleaning the Product
If the product body becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
Use of a volatile liquid (such as paint thinner, benzene or alcohol) may affect the material quality and colour of the product.

LED Blinks white during video recording.
Built-in Microphone Picks up audio.
Infra-red light for face recognition Blinks during face recognition. Infra-red light may or may not be visible depending on the individual.
Multistand Attaches to a display or place on a flat surface.
USB connector Connect to the PC USB-A port.

How to use the camera

Attach the camera and adjust the vertical angle. * Recommend attaching above the display.

2 Connecting the camera
Insert the USB connector of the camera into the USB-A port of the PC.
� You can insert or remove the USB even when the PC is switched on. � Please ensure that the USB connector is the right side up and connect it correctly.
The driver will be installed automatically. This product can now be used. Continue on to applications you want to use it with. ( Set up Windows Hello Face ( Use with other chat software

Set up Windows Hello Face
Before setting up
� To use face recognition, you must update to the newest version of Windows 10 from Windows Update. Manually carry out Windows Update if it is deactivated. * Please refer to the Microsoft support information for how to carry out Windows Update.
� To use face recognition with the following editions of Windows 10, you must download the driver installer from the ELECOM website. Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2015 LTSB When using these editions, please install the drivers before setting up face recognition. ( Set up Windows Hello Face: Install the driver
* The following steps are for Windows version "20H2". The display may be different for other versions, but the operation is the same.
Set up face recognition
� To set up Windows Hello face recognition, you must first set a PIN. � Please refer to the Microsoft support information for how to set a PIN.
Click on "Start" on the lower left of the screen and click on the "Settings"
icon .

Click on "Accounts". The "Accounts" page will appear.
Click on "Sign-in options".
Click on "Windows Hello Face" and click on the displayed
.
"Windows Hello setup" will be displayed.

Key in your PIN.
The image captured by the camera will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen and keep looking directly at the screen. Wait until registration is done.

Face recognition is complete when "All set!" appears.
Click on

The image captured by the camera will be displayed again when "Improve recognition" is clicked. If you wear glasses, improving recognition will allow your PC to recognise you whether you are wearing them or not.
Click on "Windows Hello Face" and go through steps - .
Face recognition is correctly set up when "You're all set up to sign in to Windows, apps and services with your face." appears.

To unlock the screen
Face the camera directly when the lock screen is on. When your face is
recognised, "Welcome back, (User Name)!" is shown.
Click using your mouse or press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. The lock screen will be unlocked and your desktop will be displayed.

Install the driver
* The driver is in Japanese only.
The driver is specifically for the following editions. For other editions, face recognition can be used without installing a driver.

Download the driver
Download the installer program for the face recognition driver from the ELECOM website shown below.

Install the driver
Before reinstalling � Connect the camera to your PC and ensure that it can be used. � Please logon using a user account with administrative rights. � It is recommended to end all Windows programs (application software).
Unzip the downloaded "UCAM-CF20FB_Driver_vX.Xzip" onto your desktop. Double click on "Setup(.exe)" found in the unzipped folder.
The installer will start up.
Click on "Yes" when the "User Account Control" window appears.

Driver installation will start.

Check " (Restart now)" and click on

Restart may not be necessary depending on your PC. Installation will be completed without restarting in this case.

Use with other chat software
Please use the chat software camera settings. The set up instructions for a representative chat software is shown here as an example. For other software, please refer to the manual for the software that you are using.
Use with SkypeTM
The following images are the instructions for "Skype for Windows Desktop". The display for the Microsoft Store application is different, but the steps are the same.
Check that the camera is connected to your PC before starting up Skype. Click on "User profile".
Click on "Settings".

Set up "Audio & Video" as below. If multiple cameras are connected, select "ELECOM 2MP Webcam" from
"Camera" under "VIDEO".
If you can see the image taken by the camera, this indicates that it is operating correctly.
Select the audio device from "Microphone" under "AUDIO".
Select the following if you are using the camera built-in microphone. �Microphone (Webcam Internal Mic) You can now use this product with Skype.

Use with Zoom
Check that the camera is connected to your PC before starting up Zoom. Click on the (Settings) icon.
Select "Video". If multiple cameras are connected, select "ELECOM 2MP Webcam" from
"Camera".
If you can see the image taken by the camera, this indicates that it is operating correctly.

Select "Audio". Select the audio device from "Microphone".
Select the following if you are using the camera built-in microphone. �Microphone (Webcam Internal Mic) You can now use this product with Zoom.

Umgang mit der Kamera

� F�r den Einsatz von Gesichtserkennung auf die neueste Version von Windows 10 �ber Windows Update aktualisieren. F�hren Sie Windows Update manuell aus, wenn es deaktiviert ist. * Die Durchf�hrung des Windows-Updates entnehmen Sie den Support-Hinweisen von Microsoft.
� F�r den Einsatz von Gesichtserkennung mit den folgenden Editionen von Windows 10 den TreiberInstaller von der ELECOM Website herunterladen. Gesichtserkennung einrichten
� Zum Einrichten der Windows Hello-Gesichtserkennung zun�chst eine PIN festlegen. � Die Support-Hinweise von Microsoft erl�utern, wie man eine PIN festlegt.
Klicken Sie links unten im Bildschirm auf ,,Start" , dann auf das Symbol
,,Einstellungen" .

So entsperren Sie den Bildschirm
Blicken Sie direkt in Kamera, wenn der Sperrbildschirm eingeschaltet ist. Wird
Ihr Gesicht erkannt, wird ,,Willkommen zur�ck, (User Name)!" angezeigt.
Klicken Sie mit der Maus, oder bet�tigen Sie die ,,Enter"-Taste auf der Tastatur. Der Sperrbildschirm wird entsperrt und Ihr Desktop angezeigt.

Treiber installieren
Vor der Neuinstallation � Kamera an den PC anschlie�en und sicherstellen, dass sie verwendet werden kann. � Bei einem Benutzerkonto mit Administratorrechten anmelden. � Wir empfehlen, alle Windows-Programme (Anwendungssoftware) zu beenden.
Die heruntergeladene Datei ,,UCAM-CF20FB_Driver_vX.Xzip" auf Ihren Desktop
entpacken.
Doppelklick auf ,,Setup(.exe)", das sich in dem entpackten Ordner befindet. Das Installationsprogramm wird gestartet.
Klicken Sie auf ,,Ja", wenn das Fenster ,,Benutzerkontensteuerung" erscheint.

Verwendung mit anderer Chat-Software
Bitte verwenden Sie die Kameraeinstellungen der Chat-Software. Die Einrichtungsanleitung f�r eine repr�sentative Chatsoftware ist hier als Beispiel dargestellt. F�r andere Software schlagen Sie bitte im Handbuch der verwendeten Software nach.
Mit SkypeTM verwenden
Die folgenden Bilder zeigen die Anleitung f�r ,,Skype f�r Windows Desktop". Die Anzeige f�r die Microsoft Store-Anwendung ist anders, die Schritte sind jedoch die gleichen.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kamera am PC angeschlossen ist, bevor Sie

Antes de reinstalar � Conecte la c�mara a su PC y verifique que se pueda utilizar. � Inicie sesi�n con una cuenta de usuario con derechos administrativos. � Se recomienda que cierre todos los programas de Windows (software de la aplicaci�n).
Descomprima el "UCAM-CF20FB_Driver_vX.Xzip" descargado en su escritorio. Haga doble clic en "Configuraci�n(.exe)" que se encuentra en la carpeta

Usar con SkypeTM

Precauzioni

Pulizia del prodotto

Inserire il connettore USB della web cam nella porta USB-A del PC.

Installazione di Windows Hello Face
Prima dell'installazione
� Per utilizzare il riconoscimento facciale occorre aggiornare il sistema all'ultima versione di Windows 10 da Windows Update Avviare manualmente Windows Update se disattivato. * Consultare le informazioni di supporto Microsoft su come avviare Windows Update.
� Per utilizzare il riconoscimento facciale con le seguenti edizioni di Windows 10, occorre scaricare l'installer del driver dal sito web ELECOM: Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2015 LTSB Se si utilizzano queste edizioni, installare i driver prima della funzione di riconoscimento facciale. * I seguenti passi riguardano la versione "20H2" di Windows. La schermata pu� essere diversa per altre versioni, ma le operazioni sono le stesse.
Installazione del riconoscimento facciale
� Per installare la funzione di riconoscimento facciale Windows Hello face, occorre impostare un PIN.
� Consultare le informazioni di supporto Microsoft su come impostare il PIN.
Cliccare sul pulsante "Start" in basso a sinistra dello schermo e fare clic
sull'icona "Impostazioni" .

Cliccare su "Account". Apparir� la pagina "Account".
Cliccare su "Opzioni di accesso".
Cliccare su "Volto di Windows Hello" e sul pulsante Apparir� il messaggio "Configurazione Windows Hello".

Apparir� l'immagine acquisita dalla web cam. Seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo senza smettere di guardarlo. Attendere fino al termine della registrazione.

Cliccando su "Migliora riconoscimento" l'immagine acquisita verr� visualizzata nuovamente. Se si indossano occhiali, il miglioramento del riconoscimento permetter� al PC di riconoscere il viso sia con che senza occhiali.
Cliccare su "Volto di Windows Hello" ed eseguire i passi - .
Il riconoscimento facciale � installato correttamente quando appare il messaggio "� tutto pronto per l'accesso a Windows, alle app e ai servizi con il tuo volto".

Come sbloccare lo schermo
Guardare direttamente la web cam mentre la schermata di blocco � attiva. Una
volta che il viso � stato riconosciuto, apparir� il messaggio "Bentornato, (User Name)!"
Cliccare o premere il tasto "Invio". La schermata di blocco verr� sbloccata e apparir� il desktop.

Scaricare il programma di installazione per il driver del riconoscimento facciale dal sito web ELECOM sotto riportato.

Installare il driver
Prima di reinstallare � Collegare la web cam al PC e assicurarsi che sia utilizzabile. � Eseguire l'accesso con un account dotato di permessi di amministratore. � Si consiglia di chiudere tutti i programmi Windows (applicazioni software).
Estrarre il file "UCAM-CF20FB_Driver_vX.Xzip" sul desktop. Fare doppio clic sull'icona "Setup(.exe)" nella cartella decompressa.
Si avvier� l'installer.
Quando apparir� la finestra "Controllo dell'account utente", cliccare su "S�".

Utilizzo con altri software
Utilizzare le impostazioni della web cam del software di chat: Di seguito, come esempio, sono mostrate le istruzioni di configurazione per un software di chat indicativo. Per altri software, consultare il manuale del programma che si sta utilizzando.
Utilizzo con SkypeTM
Le seguenti immagini costituiscono le istruzioni per "Skype for Windows Desktop". La schermata dell'app del Microsoft Store � diversa, ma i passi sono gli stessi.
Prima di avviare Skype, verificare che la web cam sia collegata al PC. Cliccare su "Profilo utente".
Cliccare su "Impostazioni".

Configurare "Audio e video" come segue. Se sono collegate pi� web cam, selezionare "ELECOM 2MP Webcam" dalla
scheda "Videocamera" sotto la voce "VIDEO".
Se � possibile visualizzare l'immagine acquisita dalla web cam, questo ne indica il corretto funzionamento.
Selezionare il dispositivo audio dalla scheda "Microfono" sotto la voce "AUDIO".
Se si utilizza il microfono integrato nella web cam, selezionare la seguente opzione: �Microfono (Webcam Internal Mic) Ora � possibile utilizzare il prodotto con Skype.

Utilizzo con Zoom
Prima di avviare Zoom, verificare che la web cam sia collegata al PC. Cliccare sull'icona "Impostazioni" .
Selezionare "Video". Se sono collegate pi� web cam, selezionare "ELECOM 2MP Webcam" dalla
scheda "Videocamera".
Se � possibile visualizzare l'immagine acquisita dalla web cam, questo ne indica il corretto funzionamento.

Selezionare "Audio". Selezionare il dispositivo audio dalla scheda "Microfono".
Se si utilizza il microfono integrato nella web cam, selezionare la seguente opzione: �Microfono (Webcam Internal Mic) Ora � possibile utilizzare il prodotto con Zoom.
