Step 1: Assemble Sofa Frame Base
Attach the main sofa frame components. Insert four bolts ? (Part #110019) through the designated holes in the frame. Use the assembly tool ?️ (Part #120202) with nuts ⚙️ (Part #100712) and washers ⭕ (Part #100854) to secure the frame parts.
Product Care and Warnings
? Clean surfaces with a damp cloth.
? Ironing instructions: The cover can be ironed at a low temperature ♨️ (indicated by one dot on the care label). Refer to the IKEA care label for details.

Step 2: Apply Main Sofa Cover
Unfold the main sofa cover. Carefully place it over the sofa frame, aligning the top edges. Pull the cover down evenly over the sides and back of the sofa frame.
Step 2 Continued: Secure Main Sofa Cover
Ensure the cover is correctly positioned and smooth. Secure the cover using the integrated straps or fasteners, typically found along the bottom edges and corners. ? Be careful not to pinch your fingers ❌ when securing.
Step 3: Apply Additional Covers
For sofas with separate seat/back cushions or modular sections, apply their respective covers. Drape the cover over the cushion or section and pull it into place. ? Ensure correct alignment and avoid pinching fingers ❌.
Step 4: Attach Side Panels
Attach the side panels to the main sofa base. Use the long threaded rods ? (Part #117175) to connect the panels securely.
Step 5: Insert Main Sofa Frame
Carefully slide the main sofa frame into the assembled base structure. Ensure it is properly seated. Use the assembly tool ?️ (Part #120202), nuts ⚙️ (Part #100712), and washers ⭕ (Part #100854) to secure the frame to the base.
Step 6: Attach Sofa Legs
Turn the assembled sofa upside down or tilt it carefully. Attach the four leg bases ? (Part #121236) to the designated points on the underside of the sofa frame.
A separate component, possibly a storage unit or drawer, is shown with a strap. Its specific assembly step is not detailed here but may be part of a modular configuration.
Step 7: Apply Seat Cushion Covers
Take the covers for the seat cushions. Carefully slide them onto the cushions, aligning the seams. Pull the cover taut and smooth it out.
Step 8: Place Back Cushions
Place the back cushions onto the sofa frame. Ensure they are oriented correctly. The diagram shows a zipper ? detail for securing the cushion cover. ? Ensure the cushion is placed correctly and the cover is aligned.
Step 9: Apply Back Cushion Covers
Take the covers for the back cushions. Carefully slide them onto the cushions, aligning the seams. Pull the cover taut and smooth it out. Use the zipper ? to close the cover securely.
Step 10: Final Cushion Placement
Place the back cushions onto the sofa. The diagram shows the back cushions being lowered into position, with a zipper ? detail visible.
Final Adjustments
Adjust the seat and back cushions to ensure they are properly settled and aligned for comfort and appearance. The diagram shows hands pushing the cushions into place.
