LION BRAND� NUBOO ARABELLA SCARF Pattern Number: M20322 NUB FINISHING Weave in ends. Fringe Note: Fringe is attached to Scarf, then strands of fringe are twisted. Cut 76 strands of yarn about 12 in. (30.5 cm) long. For each fringe, hold 2 strands of yarn together and fold in half. With crochet hook, draw fold through edge of piece, forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through this loop. Pull to tighten. Make a fringe in each sc along each short edge. Lay the Scarf onto a flat surface, then place a weight � a few books, a cast iron skillet, etc - onto the Scarf to hold it in place while you twist each of the fringes. To twist the fringe, divide the 4 strands of one fringe into 2 sets of 2 strands each. Twist the 2 sets together, always twisting in the same direction and keeping the strands taught. When about 1 in. (2.5 cm) remains untwisted, wrap the end of one of the strands around the other 3 strands then use the crochet hook to draw the end down through the wrap to form a knot and pull to tighten. Trim fringe ends evenly.
