Unfold and Fold the Gimbal Stabilizer

Unfold the Gimbal Stabilizer

To unfold the gimbal stabilizer, first extend the arm of the SMART X gimbal. Then, securely fit your mobile phone onto the clip and adjust it until it is level. This process requires no unlocking and is designed for ease of use.

Fold the Gimbal Stabilizer

To fold the gimbal, follow the visual cues indicated by the yellow arrows. First, align the gimbal arm parallel to the LED display panel. Next, rotate the mobile clip until it securely locks into the designated hole.

Introduction to the Operation Panel

1. OLED Display Modes

The OLED display indicates the current operating mode:

• L: Full lock mode
• PF: Semi-follow mode
• F: Full follow mode
• POU: Selfie mode
• DM: Inception mode
• LOGO: Indicates device status or brand.
• Bluetooth mode: Shows Bluetooth connection status.
• Firmware update: Indicates firmware update status.

2. Gimbal Joystick Controls

• Movement: Move up and down, left and right to control gimbal orientation.
• Single click: Switch between PF, F, L, and POV modes.
• Double click: Return the gimbal to the center position.
• Triple click: Activate Inception mode.

3. Power Button & Fill Light Controls

• Hold down: Power the device on or off.
• Single click: Cycle through fill light stages (1, 2, 3, and off).
• Double click: Check the battery life indicator.

4. Camera & Wireless Charging Controls

• Single click: Switch between Camera and Video modes.
• Double click: Switch the phone panel between horizontal and vertical orientation.
• Hold down: Switch the wireless charging function on or off.

Battery Charging and Replacement

Battery Charging

Connect the equipped Type-C cable to a power adapter and the gimbal stabilizer's Type-C port. When the LED display is lit, it indicates the charging status. A full battery is indicated when the battery symbol [ ] appears on the LED display.

Battery Replacement

The SMART X gimbal utilizes a magnetic battery cover for easy access. To replace the Li-battery, open the magnetic cover and remove the used battery. 18650 Li-batteries can be purchased from the AOCHUAN official store. For first-time use, please ensure the battery is fully charged to activate it and guarantee normal operation.
