Mounting Instructions
NOTE: Recommended mounting height is 47" (1.19 m) from the floor to the bottom of the dispenser. If using a template, recommended mounting height is 47" from floor to bottom of piece of paper. [mounting height diagram]
Figure 5: Diagram showing a mounting template being taped to a wall at a specific height.
NOTE: Ensure that proper mounting hardware is used for appropriate wall composition, as enclosed hardware may not be compatible with your wall surface.
- Tape mounting template to wall at desired height and ensure that template is level. (See Figure 5)
Figure 5: Diagram showing a mounting template being taped to a wall at a specific height.
- Using a 6mm drill bit, drill into wall about 1½" (3.8 cm) at each marked screw location on template. [drilling diagram] (See Figure 6)
Figure 6: Illustration of a drill with a 6mm bit making holes in a wall according to the template.
- Remove template from wall. Insert wall anchors [wall anchor icon] (if necessary) into four previously drilled holes. Hold dispenser up to wall so holes in wall and dispenser match up. Insert screws [screw icon] into circular base of top two holes but do not tighten completely. [dispenser alignment diagram] (See Figure 7)
Figure 7: Shows the dispenser being held against the wall, aligning holes, with screws inserted into the top two holes. Wall anchors are also shown.
- Drop dispenser down so screws [screw icon] slide up into narrow slots and tighten screws [screw icon] completely. [dispenser mounting diagram] (See Figure 8)
Figure 8: Illustrates lowering the dispenser onto the wall screws, showing how they slide into the mounting slots.
- Ensure the dispenser is level by looking at the level bar on the inside of the dispenser. If level, screw in last two screws [screw icon] into the bottom two holes. [level check diagram] (See Figure 9)
Figure 9: Depicts checking the dispenser's levelness using an internal level bar and then tightening the bottom screws.
