The Edgecore AS5835-54X-EC switch is a high-performance L2+/L3 10 Gigabit Ethernet Aggregation/TOR (Top of Rack) switch designed for carrier and enterprise aggregation and data center environments. It features 48 x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 6 x 100GbE uplink ports, offering a non-oversubscribed architecture ideal for traditional three-tier aggregation or core and folded-Clos architectures. The AS5835-EC provides high availability, comprehensive security, robust multicast control, and advanced QoS, along with support for advanced IPv6 management features. It is suitable for ISPs looking to expand services by providing reliable and resilient networks, incorporating ITU-T G.8032 ERPS, L2 VPNs, and advanced OAM functions.
