Overview
The Crestron® Ultimate speakers, made by Origin Acoustics, deliver peak performance for demanding residential installations. Utilizing select materials, top-shelf components, and a high-end appearance, this line of in-ceiling speakers is suitable for various locations. The weatherized construction allows for use in outdoor environments such as decks, patios, locker rooms, saunas, yachts, and swimming pool areas.
The ULTIMATE IC6-AW-W-T-EACH is a 2-way all-weather in-ceiling speaker featuring a 6.5-inch (165 mm) carbon fiber woofer for deep, defined low end and articulate midrange, and a 1-inch (25 mm) ceramic coated aluminum tweeter for crisp highs with consistent coverage. A compression-molded woofer basket ensures pure, uncolored bass response. The suspended coaxial mounting of the pivoting tweeter minimizes midrange frequency response anomalies caused by interference between the woofer and the back of the tweeter.
Note: The Ultimate and Reference IC6 and IC8 speakers are interchangeable as they share the same cut-out diameter dimension.
