Thank you for purchasing a HIFIMAN product. HIFIMAN takes pride in offering audio products that provide best-in-class performance and value. The company continues to grow rapidly, with the HIFIMAN brand being highly respected in the industry. Dr. Fang Bian, Founder and CEO, shares his passion for music and commitment to recreating the experience of live performance, aiming to help users enjoy countless hours of pleasure with their new headphones.
Note: The name 'Deva' (देव) is Sanskrit, meaning "Heavenly".
Headphone Overview
Outstanding Sound Quality
Compared to traditional dynamic headphones, planar magnetic technology offers a superior sound experience, particularly in overall quality and aural soundstage. Planar magnetic headphones have a lower overall weight (conductors + diaphragm) than dynamic headphones. This results in superior performance, especially in the upper frequencies (treble). Planar magnetic headphones feature conductive layers distributed throughout the diaphragm surface, driven evenly by magnetic force, leading to significantly lower distortion than conventional dynamic headphones. This translates to better reproduction of minute details and a consistently wide, natural-sounding soundstage.
The upper frequency bound (fh) is influenced by diaphragm mass (m1) and conductor traces mass (m2) according to the formula: fh = 1 / (2π * sqrt((m1 * m2) / (m1 + m2))). A smaller mass from either component improves upper frequency response.

The Stealth Magnets
The DEVA Pro features an advanced magnet design that is acoustically transparent. This design dramatically reduces wave diffraction turbulence, which typically degrades sound wave integrity. The result is reduced distortion, yielding a purer, more harmonious sound that is demonstrably better than previous designs.

HIFIMAN NEO "Super Nano Diaphragm"
HIFIMAN developed a nano scale thickness diaphragm for the DEVA Pro, enabling lightning-fast response, high detail, and ultra-low distortion. Utilizing technologies from revered models like the HIFIMAN Susvara, the DEVA Pro offers performance and musical purity that exceed expectations for its price point.

Universal Acceptance
The DEVA Pro includes a user-replaceable 3.5mm cable designed for optimal audio quality. Its high sensitivity allows it to perform well with various sources, including laptops, digital audio players, and mobile phones. An optional accessory, the Bluemini R2R, can be purchased separately to enable Bluetooth and USB pairing.

Headband Adjustment
To achieve a comfortable fit, use the two adjustment blocks on the headband strap to change its position until the desired fit is achieved.

Replacing Ear Pads
To remove ear pads, locate the clips on the inside of the pad. Gently bend the clips inward with two fingers to detach. To install new pads, align the ear pad with the mounting ring and gently bend the clips to secure them in place.

Body Safety Instructions
- Listen at moderate levels to protect your hearing.
- Do not use headphones while driving or operating machinery.
- Keep the product away from pets and small children.
- Wipe surfaces with a microfiber cloth and store in a dry, cool, safe place away from dust, heat, humidity, sunlight, children, and pets. Periodically wipe the headband to remove dust.
- Planar headphones benefit from a break-in period of up to 150 hours for optimal performance.
- Unauthorized modifications, such as changing transmission frequency or power, will void the warranty.
- Use only officially provided or recommended accessories.
Product Safety Instructions
- If the headset emits abnormal noise, heat, or sound, remove it immediately and contact HIFIMAN Customer Services.
- The DEVA Pro is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to moisture or water.
- Do not use the product near heat sources or expose it to heat for extended periods.
- Do not use volatile cleaning substances like alcohol, acetone, gasoline, or dish detergent.
Maintenance Precautions
- For extended idle periods, HIFIMAN recommends placing a moisture-proof agent in the storage box to prevent mold.
- To prevent dust entry, do not disassemble ear pads unnecessarily. Clean headphones by wiping with a slightly damp soft cloth. Ensure no liquid enters the headphones.
- Use leather-specific products for leather maintenance. The internal headphone unit requires no maintenance.
- Unauthorized disassembly will void the warranty.
HIFIMAN Limited Warranty
The DEVA Pro is warranted for one year from the original purchase date. Proof of purchase (dated sales or delivery receipt) is required. For warranty service, contact HIFIMAN customer service or an authorized dealer. HIFIMAN may repair or replace the product at its discretion.
Caution: Tampering with or modifying the product voids the warranty.
The limited warranty does not cover:
- Damage from fluids, dirt, missing keys, broken plastic, or improper use.
- Damage caused by misuse with other products.
- Use of the product for purposes other than its intended use, or failure to follow the "Owner's Guide".
- Damage from accident, abuse, neglect, or misuse.
- Lack of a valid dated receipt showing proof of purchase.
- Damage from unauthorized service, repairs, or modifications.
- Damage from self-repair or unauthorized disassembly/modification.
HIFIMAN guarantees satisfaction. For questions or concerns, contact your authorized dealer or HIFIMAN directly. Returns require a RA# and return shipping is at the owner's expense. The warranty is non-transferable.
