Upgrade Instructions

When the device is added to the Nuclias portal, the portal will automatically update the switch firmware to the latest version. Users can navigate to SETTINGS > SWITCH UPGRADE to change the firmware upgrade policy. There are three options:

  • Follow upgrade window
  • Reschedule the upgrade to [Date] [Time]
  • Perform the upgrade now

Alternatively, users can upgrade the switch through the local GUI by following these steps:

  1. Connect a workstation with a Java SE runtime environment installed to any switch port of the device.
  2. Open a web browser on the workstation and enter the IP address of the switch.
  3. Enter the username and password, then press OK to log in. The default username and password are "admin" and "password".
  4. To update the switch's firmware or configuration file, select Tools > Firmware Upgrade from the banner.
  5. Select Firmware Update to upgrade the firmware to or from your local drive of the PC.
    • Click "Browse" to locate a saved firmware file.
    • Click "Upgrade" after selecting the firmware file.
    • The system will download the firmware file to the DUT (Device Under Test).
    • Upon successful download, do not power off the device.
    • Wait until the "Firmware Upgrade Success!" message is displayed and a "Success" prompt appears.
