Product Overview
The Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 is a smart door lock that supports unlocking via fingerprint, password, key, and Bluetooth. It features door lock status detection, low power alerts, door-picked alarms, anti-burglary unlocking, and wrong fingerprint/password alarms. It also includes an 'away mode' activated by a single button and supports connected controls and alarms with other smart devices.
Note: Devices with Bluetooth hub functionality are required to enable features such as remote error alarms, remote viewing of unlocking history, smart connections, and away mode.
Door Lock Components and Operation
The door lock consists of several components on its front and rear panels, along with internal mechanisms.
Front Panel Components:
- Fingerprint Sensor: For biometric authentication.
- Emergency Keyhole Cover: Conceals the mechanical keyhole for emergency access.
- Emergency Power Supply Port (Type-C): For providing temporary power.
- Password Input Keypad: For entering numeric passcodes.
- Front Panel Handle: Used for unlocking and opening the door.
- Speaker: Emits audio feedback.
- Settings Button: Short press to pair via Bluetooth if not added to the app; short press to enter setting mode if already added. Note: After entering setting mode, add the lock to the Mi Home app and a user first.
Rear Panel Components:
- Rear Panel Handle: For operating the lock from the inside.
- Battery Compartment: Houses 8 AA batteries.
- Reset Button: Long press for 5 seconds to reset the lock.
- Anti-burglary Unlocking Button: For secure locking from the inside.
- Locking Knob: For manual locking and unlocking.
Indicators and Alarms:
- Forget-to-lock Alarm: Blinking indicates the door is not closed/locked; Off indicates normal status.
- Verification Indicator: Ring status: Rotating White for successful verification, Blinking Red for failed verification.
- Low Battery Alarm: Blinking indicates low battery; Off indicates normal status.
- Away Mode: A feature to enable when leaving the premises.
- NFC Recognition Area: For unlocking via NFC devices.
Operational Descriptions:
Diagrams illustrate the following actions:
- Opening Emergency Keyhole Cover: Press the lower part of the cover until it pops up, then remove it.
- Unlocking with Front Panel Handle: Pull down the handle after successful verification (fingerprint, password, NFC).
- Locking with Rear Panel Handle: Lift up the handle after closing the door.
- Opening Battery Cover: Slide or lift the cover from the indicated area.
- Resetting the Lock: Long press the reset button for 5 seconds until a sound prompt is heard.
- Rotating Locking Knob: Rotate 90° clockwise or counterclockwise to lock, and 90° backwards to unlock.
Door Lock Installation
Professional installation is recommended for the door lock. If your purchase includes on-site installation service, please scan the QR code (link provided in original document) to schedule an appointment or contact customer service.
Preparations
- Open the battery cover and insert 8 AA batteries.
Note: It is recommended to use original batteries as others may leak and cause damage to the product over time.
- Long press the reset button for 5 seconds and release after hearing a sound indicating successful reset.
Note: Once reset, all users are removed from the app, and the lock will not function normally until setup is complete according to instructions.
Quick Settings
1. Connect with Mi Home App
This product is compatible with the Mi Home app. Control your door lock and integrate it with other smart home products. Scan the QR code (link provided in original document) to download and install the Mi Home app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home" in your app store.
Open the Mi Home app, tap "+" in the top right corner, and follow the on-screen instructions to add this product. After successful addition, the door lock will automatically attempt to connect with available Bluetooth hub devices in your account. The effective communication range is 10 meters, but can be affected by obstacles like walls.
2. Add Users
Navigate to the lock's page within the app and follow the instructions to add the first user, who will be the administrator by default. The door lock cannot function normally without registered users.
3. HomeKit Connection (for iOS users)
Open the Apple "Home" app. Tap "+" in the top right corner and select "add accessory". Follow the instructions to scan or type the HomeKit setting code, which can be found on the door lock's rear cover or below the handle, to complete the setup. Please keep the HomeKit setting code safe.

Daily Use
Verified successfully: The indicator ring rotates white, accompanied by an audible sound (if unmuted).
Could not verify: The indicator ring blinks red, accompanied by an audible sound (if unmuted).
Unlocking Methods:
- Unlock with Fingerprint
- Place the finger whose fingerprint has been added in the app onto the fingerprint sensor.
- Pull down the handle to unlock after successful verification.
- Unlock with Password
- Enter the added password and press confirm.
- Pull down the handle to unlock after successful verification.
- Unlock with Emergency Key
- Press under the keyhole cover.
- Flip up and buckle open the cover.
- Insert the key and turn it to unlock.
Note: Do not keep the emergency key inside the house. Store it in an accessible, safe place for emergency situations.
- Unlock with NFC
- Bring the added NFC device close to the NFC reader.
- Pull down the handle to unlock after successful verification.
- Unlock from Inside
- Press and hold the anti-burglary unlocking button.
- Pull down the handle to unlock.
Locking Methods:
- Lock from Inside/Outside
Lift up the handle after closing the door.
- Lock from Inside
- Turn the knob 90° clockwise or counterclockwise to lock.
- Turn the lock 90° backwards to unlock.

Local Settings Mode
If using the app is inconvenient, the following operations can be performed by pressing the "Settings" button located under the battery cover of the lock and verifying the administrator's fingerprint or password:
- Add/Delete users.
- Set the door lock volume.
- Set the door lock voice language (supports Chinese/English).
Note: Ensure the door lock and users are added to your Mi Home app first before using Local Settings.

Product Warranty

Product warranty does not apply to the following situations:

- The product warranty period has expired.
- Damage caused by force majeure.
- Problems not listed in the Product Malfunction List.
- Problems of the product and its accessory listed in the Product Malfunction List but caused by the user.
