Notes on Installation
The unit is designed for 12V DC negative ground operation systems only. Before installation, ensure your vehicle is connected to a DC12V negative ground electrical system. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before making connections to prevent short circuits. Connect color-coded leads correctly according to the diagram to avoid unit malfunction or damage to the vehicle's electrical system. Ensure speaker (-) leads are connected to the speaker (-) terminal and do not connect left/right channel speaker cables to each other or the vehicle body. Do not block the vent or radiator panel, as this can cause heat buildup and potential fire.
Panel Introduction
Please refer to the physical panel for button introductions. The main unit features several controls:
- Button 1: [power icon] - Returns to the home screen.
- Button 2: [power icon] - Mutes audio; hold to turn the receiver off.
- Button 3: [plus icon] - Increases the volume.
- Button 4: [minus icon] - Decreases the volume.
- Button 5: [microphone] - Activates Hands-Free mode.
The Main Interface
Upon first use, the system defaults to the main interface, displaying the current time and date.
Settings
Time
The Time Settings interface allows users to adjust the Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, and Model using drag gestures on the screen.
Sound
In Sound Settings, users can control the beep sound, reverse sound volume, and utilize sound effects. The interface also provides access to Equalization (EQ) settings, including Fade, Balance, and Volume adjustments, as well as sound modes like Custom, Standard, Soft, and Rock. A reset option to factory settings is also available.
General
The General Settings menu allows for adjustments to Screen Day Brightness and Screen Night Brightness. It also includes settings for SWC (Steering Wheel Controls), Radio Area selection, RDS (Radio Data System) display, Language selection, Reset Factory Data (which will restart the system with factory presets and erase all stored data), Drive Forbidden Watch Video function, Seven Colour Light settings, and viewing Serial & Version information.
Wallpaper
Users can change the system's wallpaper through the Wallpaper Settings interface.
USB
When an external USB drive is connected, the system supports video and photo file playback. The USB Music interface provides playback controls such as [previous], [play/pause], [next], [shuffle], and [repeat] icons. Users can also access the songs list, EQ settings, and select/play files digitally.
AUX In
Connect your video and audio inputs respectively and select the AUX IN icon to play.
Bluetooth Phone
Establish a point-to-point connection with your Bluetooth-enabled phone to dial, answer calls, and play music hands-free. To pair a new phone:
- Open BT Phone and select "Usable Device". Ensure "Auto Connect" is ON.
- Turn on your phone's wireless Bluetooth connection.
- Search for the device's Bluetooth signal and connect.
- Confirm the connection on your phone when prompted.
Note: Do not attempt to connect your device while operating the vehicle.
The Dial screen allows direct dialing via the keypad, with controls for [dial], [delete] (single or all), [number pad toggle], [hang up], and [mute]. The 'Recents' screen displays call history, marking calls as [missed call], [dialed call], or [received call]. Users can delete all communication records using the [delete] icon. Contacts can be synced by navigating to "Settings" > "Synchronize Phone Book" on the Bluetooth Interface and clicking "Confirm". Some phones may not be compatible with the Phone Book feature.
Bluetooth Music
Once connected via Bluetooth, you can play all your audio files seamlessly. The Bluetooth Music interface provides standard media playback controls.
Radio
Scan, save, and scroll through your favorite radio stations. The Radio interface allows switching between bands ([FM1]/[FM2]/[FM3]/[AM1]/[AM2]), setting the [EQ], scanning saved stations or for good signals ([SCAN]), switching between local and distant reception ([LOC/DX]), and accessing a frequency keyboard ([GOTO]) to input or select stations. Users can also search for stations on the low or high frequency sides, toggle [AF] (AF Mode), display program type with [PTY], turn the [TA] (TA Mode) on/off, view network information with [EON], and select stations with [REG].
CarPlay
Connect your phone to make calls, view map information, play music, listen to podcasts, and read audiobooks. The interface displays app icons for Calendar, Settings, Phone, Messages, Google Maps, Now Playing, Spotify, and Waze.
Android Auto-Connect
When connecting for Android Auto, a prompt message will appear on your mobile phone, requiring you to click "CONTINUE".
Car and Mobile Unit
When steering wheel buttons and voice activation are visible on the car unit, you may click "SKIP" on the car unit. Simultaneously, your mobile phone will display the Android Auto lock screen.
Android Auto Menu
The Android Auto interface displays system information such as Time, Weather, WIFI Connection, Signal Strength, and Battery Level at the top of the screen (A). The operation icons are located along the bottom of the screen (B), including Google Voice Search, Notification, Spotify Play Bar, and Home/Menu.
