Quick Start Guide
If you are a Windows user, please find the appropriate keycaps in the box, then follow the instructions below to find and replace the following keycaps.
Mac / Windows Layout
A detailed diagram shows the full keyboard layout for both Mac and Windows, highlighting specific keys for keycap replacement.
1. Connect Bluetooth
Pairing: Press and hold Fn + 1 for 4 seconds. The keyboard will enter pairing mode. Search for the device named "Keychron K10" on your device and pair.
Switch Toggle: Ensure the toggle switch is set to "Bluetooth".
2. Connect Cable
Connect the keyboard to your PC using the Type-C cable. Ensure the toggle switch is set to "Cable".
3. Change Light Effect
Press the light effect key to cycle through different lighting effects. For RGB versions, press Fn + Right Arrow or Left Arrow to change the backlight color.
4. Switch Between Function and Multimedia Keys (F1-F12)
For Windows: Press and hold Fn + X + L for 4 seconds to switch.
For Mac: Go to System Settings > Keyboard and enable the function keys. For F5 & F6 as function keys, press Fn + K + C for 4 seconds to switch.
5. Disable Auto Sleep Mode
The keyboard enters Auto Sleep Mode after 10 minutes of inactivity to save battery. To disable this, press and hold Fn + S + O for 4 seconds.
6. Remap Keys
Keychron does not provide official software for key remapping. However, users can utilize third-party software:
- For Mac: Karabiner
- For Windows: SharpKeys
Linux Users: A Linux user group exists on Facebook. Search for "Keychron Linux Group" for assistance.
7. Turn Off Backlight
For Mac: Press the F5 key.
For Windows: Press Fn + F5 key.
Alternatively, press Fn + light effect key.
8. Activate Siri / Cortana
For Siri on Mac: Go to System Preferences > Siri > select "Press Fn (Function) Space" option. (Note: Siri key functionality is limited to macOS and does not work on iOS.)
For Cortana on Windows: Select Start > Settings > Cortana and use the shortcut Windows key + C. (Note: Windows Cortana is available for Windows 10 and later OS versions and may vary by region.)

Function Description: Charging
Plug the Type-C cable into the keyboard and a USB port. The charging indicator shows battery status: blinking red for low battery (<15%), solid red while charging, and solid green when fully charged (approx. 3 hours). The Keychron K10 is compatible with all USB ports. For best performance, use a USB 3.0 port or a 5V 2A adapter. The keyboard can charge in Bluetooth, wired, or off modes. This product supports up to 5V charging voltage and 2A charging current. Keychron is not responsible for issues arising from improper charging.
Bluetooth/Wired Mode (Toggle Switch)
Wired Mode
- Switch the toggle to "Cable" position (requires USB cable connection).
- Connect the keyboard to your PC with the USB cable.
- Backlight will turn on.
Note: In Wired Mode, the keyboard does not enter Battery Saver Mode.
Bluetooth Mode
- Switch the keyboard to "Bluetooth" position.
- Backlit will turn on.
- Hold "Fn+1" for 4 seconds to activate Bluetooth pairing. The Bluetooth indicator will flash rapidly for 3 minutes.
- On your device, search for "Keychron K10" and connect. The indicator turns off upon successful pairing.
Note: The keyboard supports pairing with up to 3 devices simultaneously using Fn+1, Fn+2, or Fn+3.
*The Bluetooth indicator flashes for 3 minutes. Slow or failed connections may occur due to different Bluetooth versions. Ensure settings are correct.
Switch Bluetooth Devices
Short press the combination key "Fn" + "1" / "Fn" + "2" / "Fn" + "3" to switch between paired devices.
Reconnect
- Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode. It will automatically connect to the last paired device.
- The Bluetooth indicator flashes for 4 seconds to pair with the last device.
- If the indicator is off, press any key to re-establish connection.
*The keyboard must have been previously paired with the device.
Turn Off the Keyboard
Switch the toggle to "Off".
Battery Saver
In Bluetooth mode, the keyboard backlight turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any key to wake it up. To disable auto battery save mode, press and hold Fn+S+O for 4 seconds. To re-enable it, press Fn+S+O again for 4 seconds.
Backlit Setting
- Short press the [light effect key] to cycle through lighting effects.
- When the backlight is on, press the [brightness key] to cycle through brightness levels. Short press Fn + Left Arrow or Fn + Right Arrow to adjust light colors (RGB versions only).
OS Switch
- MAC/iOS: Turn the switch to Mac/iOS when connected to a Mac or iOS operating system.
- WINDOWS/ANDROID: Switch the toggle to Windows/Android when connected to a Windows or Android operating system.
*When using Windows/Android mode, the [Alt] and [Windows] keys function as specified.
3. Input Method Switch
For iOS:
Input method switch: Ctrl + Space
Caps Lock: Enable General > Keyboards > Hardware Keyboard > Caps Lock Language Switch.
For Android: Input method switch: Shift + Space
Note: Functions of certain multimedia keys may be disabled due to compatibility, versions, brands, and drivers of Windows/Android OS. Frequent OS switching is not recommended as it may impact keyboard operations.
Troubleshooting
My keyboard isn't working.
For the keyboard: Turn it off and on again.
For the device (Windows): Turn off Bluetooth and restart the computer. Go to Bluetooth settings, turn off Bluetooth, and "forget" the keyboard. Restart the device and turn on Bluetooth to reconnect.
Bluetooth connection is interrupted even within 10 meters.
Check if the keyboard is on a metal surface that might interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
Third-party input tools are not compatible with the keyboard.
Due to compatibility, versions, brands, and drivers of Windows/Android OS, third-party input tools may be affected. Ensure your operating system and drivers are up to date.
Certain Fn keys or multimedia keys do not work under Windows/Android mode.
Functions of certain multimedia keys may be disabled due to compatibility, versions, brands, and drivers of Windows/Android OS.
Safety Precaution
- Keep the product, accessories, and packaging out of reach of children to prevent accidents and choking hazards.
- Always keep the product dry to avoid corrosion.
- Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures below -10°C (5°F) or above 50°C (131°F) to preserve the lifespan of the keyboard and battery.
