How to Upgrade the Firmware for Tribit MAXSound Plus

1. Install the Upgrade Tool "Media Product Tool"

Unzip the provided file and double-click "setup" to install the "Media product tool". The software interface will appear as shown below.

The upgrade tool lists several files, including MSI, Msicn, Msien, Msitw, and a setup file. The setup file is an application with a size of 28 KB.

The software interface displays "Actions 多媒体产品量产工具 ▼2.07" and indicates that 0 USB devices are detected (0 removable U disks, 0 ADFU devices). It shows a progress bar and details about firmware, version, and production statistics.

2. Upgrade the Firmware

Step 1: Connect the Device

Ensure the MAXSound Plus is powered off. Connect the MAXSound Plus to your PC using the Micro-USB cable. Use a USB cable that supports data transmission.

Step 2: Enter Upgrade Mode

Long press the "power" button and the "Volume +" button simultaneously for more than 1 second. This action will allow the upgrade tool to detect the MAXSound Plus.

Step 3: Load the Firmware File

Click the button to load the firmware file. The interface shows "1 [A] Ready" with "0% 00:14" progress. The firmware details are displayed, including the firmware name and version.

The available checkboxes remain the same.

Step 4: Select the Firmware File

Navigate to the folder containing the firmware and double-click the file named "CGBT1355_2825C_BTS265( ... )". The file explorer window shows the firmware file "CGBT1355_2825C_BT265(Tri..." with a file type of "FW 文件" and a size of 14.14 MB.

Step 5: Add Firmware to the Tool

Click the "替换固件" (Replace Firmware) button to add the selected firmware file to the upgrade tool. The "当前固件信息" (Current Firmware Information) and "新固件信息" (New Firmware Information) sections will be updated.

The upgrade tool interface shows the status as "1 [A] Ready" with "0% 00:14".

Step 6: Begin Firmware Upgrade

Click the "烧写固件" (Write Firmware) button to start the firmware upgrading process. The interface shows the firmware details and production statistics, which have been updated to reflect 6 units produced, 6 successful, and 0 failures.

The progress indicator shows "0% 00:14".

Step 7: Upgrade Successful

Once the upgrade is complete, the status will change to "1 [A] Successful" with "100% 00:15". The production statistics will show the total number of units produced and the success rate.

The interface confirms "成功7台失败0台" (7 successful, 0 failures).
