Product Overview

The YINNIK BLE-9909 is a versatile water quality tester that measures pH, EC (Electrical Conductivity), TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), Salt content, and Temperature. It features Bluetooth connectivity for data transfer to a mobile app and an HD LCD display with backlight.

Operation Instructions

1. Download APP: Scan the QR code to download the "YINMIK" APP.
2. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the meter.
3. Testing: Immerse the electrode into the testing solution. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
4. Hold Reading: Press "HOLD/TEMP" to hold the current reading. The "H" icon will appear on the screen.
5. Temperature Conversion: Long press "HOLD/TEMP" to convert temperature between °C and °F.
6. Mode Switching: Press the "MODE" button to switch between Salinity (%), EC (µS/cm), TDS (ppm), and pH modes.
7. Save Reading: Press the "Save" button to manually save the current reading. Saved data is displayed in black.
8. Auto Save: Auto Save can be enabled in the settings, with a configurable time interval (0-9999 seconds). Manually saved data is black, auto-saved data is blue.
9. Set Limits: Set pH/EC Max or Min Limit values in Settings. If testing results are out of range, the digits will display in red.
10. Save/Share/Print: Press "Share" to save or share testing records. If connected to a printer, records can be printed.

Note: All testing results can be viewed on the YINMIK APP. The model number is displayed on the top of the screen.

Parameters

TDS Factor: Factory default 0.5; settable range 0.0-3.0.

EC Temperature Compensation: Factory default 2.0%/°C; settable range 0.0-3.0%/°C.

Calibration

The meter supports two sets of pH calibration points: 6.86/4.00/9.18 (Asia Standard) and 7.00/4.00/10.01 (EU Standard). EC/TDS/Salt calibration uses standard solutions.

pH Calibration Steps:

1. Prepare buffer solutions (6.86, 4.00, 9.18 or 7.00, 4.00, 10.01) by dissolving each in 250ml of distilled water.
2. Convert to pH mode.
3. Calibrate pH 6.86: Place electrode in 6.86 solution. Wait for stabilization, press "CAL" for 5 seconds. Wait for "6.86" to flash 3 times.
4. Calibrate pH 4.00: Place electrode in 4.00 solution. Wait for stabilization, press "CAL" for 5 seconds. Wait for "4.00" to flash 3 times.
5. Calibrate pH 9.18: Place electrode in 9.18 solution. Wait for stabilization, press "CAL" for 5 seconds. Wait for "9.18" to flash 3 times.
6. Calibration for 7.00/4.00/10.01 follows the same steps.

EC/TDS/Salt Calibration Steps:

1. Convert to EC Mode.
2. Calibrate 1413µS/cm: Place electrode in 1413µS/cm standard solution. Wait for stabilization, press "MODE" for 5 seconds. Use the up arrow (Δ) to increase digits and down arrow (▽) to decrease digits until "1413" is displayed. Release key. "1413" flashes 3 times, indicating calibration is complete.
3. Calibrate 12.88mS/cm: Place electrode in 12.88mS/cm standard solution. Wait for stabilization, press "MODE" for 5 seconds. Adjust digits using up (Δ) and down (▽) arrows until "12.88" is displayed. Release key. "12.88" flashes 3 times, indicating calibration is complete.
4. Calibrate 111.8mS/cm: Place electrode in 111.8mS/cm standard solution. Wait for stabilization, press "MODE" for 5 seconds. Adjust digits using up (Δ) and down (▽) arrows until "111.8" is displayed. Release key. "111.8" flashes 3 times, indicating calibration is complete.
5. Clean the electrode with distilled water after each calibration step.

Calibration records can be viewed by pressing the "CAL" button.
