Assembly Instructions

General Tips:

• Adjust any distorted joints before joining tracks. Do not join tracks if joints are distorted.
• Hold and join tracks together as shown in diagrams.
• Attach the guardrail to the side of the track as shown.
• Assemble the track support.

How to Play

Control Box - Battery Installation (For Battery Operated Version)

1. Unscrew the screw on the battery cover.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert new 6 x AA (1.5V) batteries into the battery compartment of the control box with the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover.
5. Tighten the screw on the battery cover.

Note: Control box has ON/OFF/DC switch. Transformer option is available for #83161.

Transmitter - Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the screw on the battery cover.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert new 2 x AAA (1.5V) batteries into the battery compartment of each transmitter with the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover.
5. Tighten the screw on the battery cover.

Maintenance

• Ensure wheel tyres are correctly positioned.
• Ensure brushes are adjusted to the correct position.
• The guide pin must be in the slot. Check car brushes for correct position. Place the car on the track and ensure good contact with the track.

Safety Information

• Alkaline batteries are recommended (For Battery Operated Version).
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be charged.
• Rechargeable batteries are for adult charging only.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarities and follow manufacturer's instructions.
• Remove all batteries when not in use.
• Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product.
• Supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Dispose of batteries properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak.
• Battery installation and removal must only be done by an adult.
