The barb hose fittings require only a small amount of force to screw them in; otherwise the high flow fittings might break. These fittings do not need to be tightened with much force because the liquid seal is made using o-rings. The use of corrosion inhibitors or quality premix coolants is always strongly recommended for any liquid cooling system.
GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Leak tester is designed to assure users that their newly made loop is watertight and ready for filling and use. This dispenses with 24h leak tests that currently employed. This tool also can `re-certify' blocks that have been opened for cleaning and reassembled.
INSTALLING THE LEAK TESTER:
Attach the tester at any free port on the reservoir or water block and pump air via a hand pump to set the pressure using the gauge on the unit. When the loop is filled, close the Ball Valve and remove the pump from the tester. Watch the pressure gauge for pressure drops. The minimum testing time is 15 minutes.
