Getting Started
1. Connecting Power and Network Cables
Connect the power adapter and network cables to the router. Connect the network cable to the optical modem/ADSL modem/network switch/home network cable, or contact your internet provider for assistance.

2. Connecting to Wi-Fi
Connect your devices to the Wi-Fi network created by the router (network name – Redmi_XXXX – see the back of the router). Upon connection, you will be automatically redirected to the miwifi.com page to set a password and manage other router settings.
Indicator Light Meanings
Internet Indicator
- Off: Network cable not connected.
- Orange: Network cable connected, but no internet access.
- Blue (solid): Network cable connected, internet access available.
- Blue (blinking): Internet connected, data updating.
System Indicator
- Off: Router is off or not connected to a power source.
- Orange (blinking): System update in progress.
- Orange (solid, then turns blue): System starting up.
- Solid (constant): System error.
- Blue (solid): Normal operation.
Mi Wi-Fi Mobile App
Use the Mi Wi-Fi app for your product. To download the app, search for "Mi Wi-Fi" in Google Play or the AppStore. You can also download the app by scanning the QR code.

1. Network cable is connected, but there is no internet access. Why?
Check if the cable is connected correctly. Ensure you have entered the correct username and password provided by your network operator. To check the network connection, open the Mi Wi-Fi app or try accessing any webpage to view the network diagnostic results.
2. What is the default Wi-Fi network name and password?
By default, the Wi-Fi network is open and named Redmi_XXXX. No password is required for connection.
3. What is the default web address and administrator password for the router?
The default web address for the Mi Router is miwifi.com. The default password is the same as the Wi-Fi password you set during setup.
4. How to reset to factory settings?
To reset the settings, press and hold the reset button (Reset) for 5 seconds.
