-4- 1 Getting started 1.1 Installing the SIM Cards and the Battery An SIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal Identification Number), PUK (PIN Unlocking Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), network information, contacts data, and short messages data. 1.2 Charging the Battery The lithium battery delivered with the mobile phone can be put into use immediately after being unpacked. Your mobile phone can monitor and display the battery state.  Normally the remaining energy of the battery is indicated by the battery level icon at the upper right corner of the display screen.  When the battery energy is insufficient, the mobile phone prompts "Battery low". If you have set an alert tone, an alert tone will be given off when the battery level is too low.  A charging animation appears when the battery is being charged. When the charging is complete, the animation disappears.  It is normal of the battery to become hot during the charging period.  The battery icon does no longer flicker when the charging process ends.  Use only the battery provided by the vendor. Otherwise, damages or even injuries could be caused during the charging.  Power off the mobile phone before removing the battery.
-5-  The charging process lasts a longer time for a new battery or a battery not in use for long. If the battery voltage is too low to enable the mobile phone to be powered on, charge the battery for a longer time.  During the charging, ensure the battery is placed in a room temperature environment or in an environment close to room temperature. Immediately stop using the battery if the battery produces odor, overheats, cracks, distorts or has other damage, or if the electrolyte leaks.  The battery wears out with use. A longer charging time is required as the battery is put into use for a long time. 1.3 Linking to the Network After the SIM card and the mobile phone are successfully unlocked, the mobile phone automatically searches for an available network. 2 Input method This mobile phone provides multiple input methods, including English input in both upper and lower case, Es, Portuguese and numeric input method. 2.1 To Shift Entry Methods In any mode, tap abc to switch between input methods. When writing text message/multimedia message, you can tap “Option” to choose the input method as well.
-6- 2.2 Numeric and English Input You can input numbers with the numeric input method. Tap a number key to input the corresponding number. 2.3 Inserting a Symbol Tap the @! icon to enter the Select symbol interface and select a symbol you want. When writing text message/multimedia message, you can tap “Option” to choose “Insert symbol” as well. 3 Using the Menus 3.1 Call center Call history 3.1.1.1 Missed Calls / Dialed Calls/ Received Calls You can view a list of the above. 3.1.1.2 Call Timers Choose call timers to view the last call time, the total time of all dialed calls and the total time of all received calls, and/or to reset all the time.
-7- 3.1.1.3 Call cost View the last call cost and total cost; Reset cost ---clear the fee records; View Maximum cost--- Limit call fees in the specified pricing unit or currency unit. PIN2 code must be input to set call cost. 3.1.1.4 Text msg. counter View and preset the numbers of sent messages and received messages. 3.1.1.5 GPRS counter Access this menu to view the sent/received GPRS rate or to reset counter. Call settings Call settings  Caller ID: You can select the ID set by the network, hide the ID, or send the ID. By default, the ID set by the network is chosen.  Call waiting: Network dependent  Call divert: this network function enables you to forward incoming calls to another number you have previously specified.  Call barring: The call barring function enables you to bar calls as needed. When setting this function, you need to use a network barring code, which can be obtained from the network operator.  Line switching: Switch to Line 1 or Line 2. By default, Line 1 is used. Note: If you choose Line 2, dialing may fail. This depends on the implementation of the network operator.  Closed user group: This function requires network support. For details, consult the local network
-8- operator. Note: SIM on service is required. Advanced settings  Blacklist: Set it On or Off to enable or disable Blacklist. That you classify a number into blacklist loop means you cannot receive calls from that number.  Auto redial: Set it to On or Off to enable or disable auto redial. To end the auto redial process, press the End key.  IP dial: you can make an IP dial here.  Call time reminder: To set single or circle tone in a call to make you know the time.  Answer mode: you can select “Any key” to answer the call and select “Auto answer when headset plugged in” 3.2 Phonebook The mobile phone can store up to 100 telephone numbers. 3.3 Settings Dual SIM switch  Manually selected by user  Automatically decided by SIM cards Dual SIM settings You have four modes for your choice.

User profiles The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles，General, Meeting, Outdoor, Silent and My style. When you insert an earpiece to the mobile phone, the mobile phone automatically enters the Headset mode, and incoming calls will be automatically answered. There is no option for activating the Headset mode on the screen. Phone Settings  Time and date: set the date format, the time format, and detail time of the location.  Schedule power on/off: Set the time when the mobile phone will be automatically powered on or off.  Language: Select the display language for the mobile phone.  Pref. input method: Select writing language as per your need.  Display: Users can access this item to set wallpaper, screen saver, power on/off display, etc.  Greeting text: User can set On/Off whether to display Greeting text on or not.  Auto update time: User can set Off, On or First confirm.  Flight mode: when this function is engaged, it will suspend many of the device's signal transmitting
-10- functions – thereby disabling the device's capacity to place or receive calls or text messages– while still permitting use of other functions that do not require signal transmission (e.g., games, built-in camera, MP3 player.)  UART settings: SIM 1/SIM 2. It needs the SIM networking support.  Misc. settings: Set brightness and time of LCD backlight. Network Settings After successfully unlock the SIM card and phone, the phone will automatically search for an available network. After finding a network, the phone went into standby. When the phone is registered on the network, the network operator name is displayed on the screen. Then you can dial or receive calls. Security Settings This function provides you with related settings about safety use SIM1/SIM 2 Security  PIN lock: To set the SIM lock, you need to input the PIN. You can set the SIM lock only after inputting the correct PIN. If you set SIM1 lock to On, you need to input the PIN each time you power on the mobile phone. In the case you input a wrong PIN for three consecutive times, you need to input the PIN Unblocking Key (PUK). The PUK is used to unlock and change the locked PIN. To obtain the PUK, contact the network operator.  Change PIN/PIN 2: If you need to change the PIN code, please get your original PIN code and then change it. For more information, please contact the network operator.
-11- Phone security  Phone lock: The function enables you to lock/unlock the phone. Entering password to switch on or off the phone. Password is required when the phone is locked. The password is 4 to 8 digits.  Change password: To change PIN code of SIM card. The default password is 0000. Auto keypad lock The function enables you to lock/unlock the keypad. Setting the auto locking time that 5s, 30s, 1min or 5min is available. The keypad will be auto locked with no operation during the period. Connectivity  Bluetooth: You can activate the Bluetooth firstly and then go to transfer/accept corresponding data or files as the phone guides you.  Data account Restore Factory Settings Use this function to restore factory settings. Note: The initial phone lock code is 0000. 3.4 Camcorder Use this function to capture pictures and shoot videos.
-12- 3.5 Messaging If the short message memory is full, a blinking message icon appears on the top of the screen. While you enter the messaging interface, you can have the corresponding operation as follows: • Write message: you can write Text/Multimedia message here. • Inbox: The message(s) received is saved. • Drafts: The message(s) not being sent out is saved. • Outbox: The message(s) failed to be sent out that is saved. • Messages sent: The message(s) being sent out is saved. • Delete messages: you can delete the message(s) as your choice. • Broadcast messages: Cell broadcast is a kind of information service such as weather report, traffic etc that the network operator sends to the GSM users within certain area. • Templates: You can pre-edit some common phrases, which is convenient for quick SMS editing. • Message Settings: you can set the corresponding parameters about Text message, Multimedia message and Service message. 3.6 TV The device is provided you for television. You can watch TV by searching the channels. You can choose to search the TV show by auto selection or one by another country. The searched TV show is charged free. When you have searched channels, you can enjoy them, or you can update the list and research TV show, and
-13- your mobile phone will be scanning again. If the signal is not so good, you will hardly receive the TV show, therefore, please pull out the antenna. In addition, please do correctly operation as the phone’s icons instructs, while you enter the TV searching interface, for instance, you can touch the speaker icon to adjust the volume, setting icon to set corresponding parameters, backward and forward to channels etc. Note: While watching TV, you can dial or receive a call normally. During call conversation, the TV will turn mute automatically. 3.7 Calendar You can view the calendar. 3.8 Organizer World Clock You can see the world time across different time zones. Notes You can make some quick notes here. Calculator This phone contains a mini calculator. You can have a simplified calculation.
-14- Unit converter Access this sub-menu, you can convert unit of Weight or Length. Currency converter Access the sub-menu, and then tap Rate to start to convert. 3.9 Alarm Five alarm clocks are set but deactivated by default.. For each alarm clock, the ringing date and the ringing time can be set. 3.10 User profiles The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles，General, Meeting, Outdoor, Silent and My style. When you insert an earpiece to the mobile phone, the mobile phone automatically enters the Headset mode, and incoming calls will be automatically answered. There is no option for activating the Headset mode on the screen. 3.11 File manager The phone provides a certain space for users to manage files and supports the T-Flash card. You can use the file manager to conveniently manage various directories and files on the phone and the T-Flash card. 3.12 Image viewer You can view the photos you captured and pictures you stored.
-15- 3.13 Sound recorder This function enables you to record the sound and other audios. 3.14 FM Radio The device gives you a convenient to listen to radio. It has an antenna to help get strong signal. You can also choose to wear an earpiece to listen to the radio as your choice. 3.15 Video player User can use it to play videos. It supports the video in MP4, 3GP and AVI format. 3.16 Audio player You can use it to play music in MP3 and Midi format. It might be not sufficient space for you to store music in Phone, you’d better insert a SD card for your choice. Note: The music you copied from computer into Phone/Memory card should be in the “My music” folder by default. Do not put the music in Photos, Ebook or videos folder at random, otherwise, you may not play the music here. 3.17 BLU Club Access this menu, you have several chatting applications, i.e. Facebook, MSN, Twitter, Yahoo messenger and Skype. Before you launch any of them, you should have GPRS settings; For more information, you should contact the SIM network operator.
-16- 3.18 Web Internet service This function enables you to view the internet. Your phone will ask you with existed way. You can start to view only by starting corresponding way. License manager Access this sub-menu, you can view license list, Status and Advance. According to your requirement, you can consult the local SIM supporter for more information. STK Service STK service is the tool kit of SIM card. This phone supports the service function .The specific items are depended by SIM card and network.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiated radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. -18- 3.20 RF Exposure Information (SAR) This mobile phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. The highest SAR value for the model phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at the ear is 1.04 W/kg and when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 0.774 W/kg (Body-worn measurements differ among phone models, depending upon available accessories and FCC requirements.) While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they all meet the government requirement.
