The battery can only be attached one way, Align the shapes of the battery connector and the charger connector and do not force the fit. - Allow the battery to charge approx. 4 hours. - Disconnect the battery from the charger and allow to cool Battery Installation Both the transmitter, and the lnsectalord toy require baneries. the Insectazoro uses the Rev NiCd rechargeable battery. and the transmitter uses the OV transistor (non-rechargeable) battery. Installing the battery in the lnsectaloid - Open the panel in the bottom 01 the InsectaZoid toy with a Phlllips Screwdriver - Attach a fully charged qov NiCd battery. The connection is shaped like the charger and the battery can only be attached one way. Align the shapes of the battery connector and the lncectaiZoid'c conneCtor. and do not force the fit. - Close the battery compartment. and secure the latch by a Phillips Screwdriver Installing a battery in the transmitter - Open the panel on the back or the tronsmtter - Attach a standard 9V transistor battery to the connector Align the shapes of the battery connector and the transmitters connector and do not force the fit. Replace the panel on the back of tho tranomittct Operahon -Tum on the transmitters power switch. located on the transmitter near the rightapper corner. The joystick on the right controls how the InsectaZoid moves. Push the joystick forward, and the InsectaZoid will move forward. If you move the joystick a little bit. the lnsectoZoid will move slowty! This is true for all directions - Move the joystick backwards, and the InsectaZoid will back up A Move the joystick to the left, and the lnsectaZoid will pivot counterclockwise. » Move the joystick to tho right, and tho InsectaZaid will pivot clockwise. ~ Pushing down on the joysflck turns the sound on and oft (push straight down, as it you were pressing the joystick into the transmitter) When the lnsectaZold is first turned on, t should make a sound InsectoNoise TM. and it will keep on making lnsectoNoise during operation. When you push the joystick down once. the sound is turned oft. When you push the joystick down again, the sound is turned back on again. -The joystick on the left controls the motion of the head When you move the joystick forward, the jaws open. When you move the juyslick backwards, the jaws will close - When you move the joystick to the right the head will tum to the right » When you move the joystick to the left, the head wrll turn to the left. rWhen you push down on the joystick you turn the eye lights on and off. (push straight down. as it you were pressing the joystick into the transmitter) When the lnsectaZoid is first turned on, its eyes should light up. The eyes will remain lit during operation. When you push the joystick down nnce, the eye lights are turned off When you push the joystick. down again, the eye lights are turned back on again. ' ~When you switch the Iett—to-right—handed stvltch to the “l.“ position, the left joystick controls the motion of the lnsectaZoid, and the right joystick controls the motion ofthe head.
