The ST1525-T8 is a very unique and specialized device. It represents the state of the art in 2.4 GHz transmitter technology. This User Manual will show you how to connect the transmitter and the ease and simplicity of its use. The purpose of this combined electronic circuitry is to receive audio and video data from the customer’s camera or video source test device, translate that data into an analog signal and then transmit that signal out to a data receiver where it is translated back into usable data that can be seen and heard. The audio/video enclosure has on the front, a control panel consisting of an On and Off switch to power the circuitry of radio frequency output 2.4GHz. An SMA connector is also located on the front control panel where an antenna is connected to the transmitter through the enclosure. This SMA connector is a radio transmission output. The back panel of the audio/video enclosure has a BNC connector input where a video composite from the customer’s camera is processed and then transmitted out. A regular audio input jack and a RCA audio input jack on the back panel is used to input audio from the customer’s camera into the audio/video enclosure to be processed. A four pin locking DC power connector located on the back panel, is used to connect DC power from the customer’s power source or camera battery, to the transmitter device. The back panel also has two ¼-20 threaded mounting holes for mounting the transmitting enclosure to the customer’s camera, or device(s).
