Turn on your radio, tune to FM channel. We suggest you looking for a station between 88.1 and 107.9MHz that is not currently used or with weak signal for broadcast in your area. 7. Once you have set a channel in radio, first use QS button to change frequency to the nearest preset frequency, then press "+" or "-" buttons to match the frequency channel to FM radio. (For example, ifthe radio frequency channel is set to 95.1MHz then the FMCup Transmitter should also be set to 95.1 MHz). Once both the radio and FMCup Transmitter '3 frequency are in—sync, the static noise in radio will disappear. 8. Play music from iPod or audio devices. Adjust the volume in your radio until the satisfactory output is reached. 9. You may need to change the channels from time to time due to interference that may occur in some areas while you are driving. Power ONIOFF and Power Saving Press the Power button to turn ON or OFF. Make sure power is turned on. 2. Adjust the FM frequency channels: (Radio frequency channels adjustment range is 88.1 MHz~107.9MHz.) . Press the ”+" or - buttons to increase/ decrease channel in 0.1MHz increments. o Press and hold the "+" or "-" buttons for continuous frequency channel adjustment. FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) Q1) What should I do, if the FMCup does not function normally? A1) Please check all wires/ cables are connected, and iPod is docking properly; please also check whether the power of your cigarette lighter is working properly and FMCup is turned on Q2) What should I do, if music output from the radio is distorted? A2) Change to another frequency channel. Normally, non broadcasted channels are better choices. When playing audio devices through audio—in jack, sound quality can be improved if the device's volume is set to 90% level, do not maximize the volume level from the radio. Q3) After FMCup is powered off, why does my iPod change to pause? A3) When FMCup is switched to off or cigarette lighter power stops after car engine is turned off, iPod playing will change to pause and eventually iPod will be turned off to save power. If you want the iPod continues playing, please press play button on the iPod. 5 When fitting FMCup in car cup holder, press the spring loaded grip Using the Digital FM Transmitter 1. Install proper iPod docking insert adapter (either included orfrom Apple) into FMCup. 2. Press the spring loaded grip and seat the FMCup to car cup holder securely. 3. Connect power cable to FMCup and car cigarette lighter outlet. Place your iPod to the iPod dock securely. (For iPod shuffle, or older iPods and other audio devices, connect them with audio cable into Audio in jack.) 4. Press the power button to turn on the FMCup, iPod charging will start. 5. The LCD Digital Display will show a frequency channels (For example, 88.1MHz).
