KIDS, ARE YOU THERE? 10. OVER AND OUT. *   #  ITEM NO. 10663    GETTING STARTED  1.  Pull TAB and slid off belt clip before remove screw and open battery door. 2.  According the correct polarities as shown, insert 4 AA batteries (Alkaline batteries recommend) into each unit and secure battery cover.  3.  Press and hold               key for 3 seconds to turn each unit on.  4.  LCD screen displays all icons for 2 seconds then goes to time 00:00   5.  Use Volume Control Knob on side to adjust volume level 6.  When transitting, speak clearly in a normal voice, holding the set about 3 inch from your mouth.  7.  Best transmission and reception are obtained when the antenna is hold in a vertical position. 8.  Item will now function as a walkie talkie. Press "PUSH TO TALK" button and starting to talk after finish hearing the TX signal. Push to talk, listen to receive.  9.  If left idle for 3 minutes the screen will displays the word “IDLE”   10.  Push any key to go back to time on screen.   SETTING RING TONE  1.  Press              key then use         and         to select “TONE” from menu and press               .          2.  Use        and         to select from 4 ring tones and press “ENTER” for the one you choose.  SENDING PRE SET TEXT MESSAGES  1.  Press              key then use         and          to select “MESSAGE” and press              .  2.  Select “TEMP”  then press              again.  3.  Choose your pre set message from the list and punch in the number or sign.              4.  Press               , select from channels 1 through 4 and press               again to send.   WRITING YOUR OWN TEXT MESSAGES  1.  Press               key then use        and         to select “MESSAGE” and press                . 2.  Select “WRITE” and press               again. 3.  Press the number key of the letter you want once for the first letter, twice for the        second letter, or three times for the third letter on the number.  4.  When the cursor appears after the letter you choose, enter the next letter or sign in your message up to 36 characters.  5.  Press              to delete the unwanted number(s)/or letter(s). 6.  Press              to move cursor forward and              backward. 7.  Press              , select from channels 1 through 4 and press “ENTER” again to send.

Unit will beep when new messages are received.  2.  After reading your message press               to select “REPLY” or “DELETE”.  3.  Messages will be automatically saved after 10 seconds if you do not use the              key.   READING SAVED TEXT MESSAGES  1.  Press              key then use         and         to select “MESSAGE” and press               . 2.  Use        and         to Select “READ” and press               .   3.  Use        and         to select inbox 1 through 4 and press              . 4.  Each inbox holds up to 4 messages of  36 characters long/each message. 5.  Messages are replaced by the last message received after the inbox is filled  6.
