BC2a User Manual Bluecheck 2,EIM UPEK sensor,WinCE 6.0 core z Product Description Weighing less than 5 ounces, 3M Cogent’s BlueCheck® II is the lightest, ruggedized mobile device in the industry. It is available in 3 models, the BlueCheck II with an FBI‐certified 500 ppi optical sensor, the BlueCheck II U with a PIV‐certified 500 ppi silicon sensor and the BlueCheck II A with 3M Cogent Apple Bluetooth CLASS 2 Module. BC2a is 3M Cogent latest version which mainly communicating with Iphone, Itouch and so on. The main function is to capture fingerprints and send images to Itouch though Bluetooth. The Bluetooth function inside BC2a is achived by 3M Cogent Apple Bluetooth class 2 module. It works at 2.4GHz and with BC05 and 16M Flash. Apple BTM v2.0 Module contain an integrated apple authentication co‐processor, MFI341S2164. It supports for connecting to an apple iphone/ipod touch/ipad by Bluetooth IAP protocol. BC2a has fully quality Bluetooth with V2.1+EDR Specification system. z Operation Description 1 Press the silver button to start BC2a. 2 Open itouch and choose ‘Setup’‐‘General’‐‘Bluetooth’, Then Start Up Bluetooth Function. 3 Connect BC2a and itouch. Press the green button on the left until warning tone goes off. Choose the right device showing on the Itouch to complete the connection. 4 After connection, press ‘OK’ to input fingerprints. Remember twice inputs.BC2a will send fingerprint images to Itouch automatically through Blutooth. 5 Open the 3M Cogent application software in itouch, you can see the fingerprints.
