User’s Instructions
Remote Control Model: EM-144
1. INTRODUCTION
The transmitter allows you to operate the receiver RE-101. It is a visor mount type
transmitter to allow to access easily.
2. LEARN TRANSMITTER TO THE RECEIVER UNIT
In order for the transmitter to communicate with the receiver properly, the transmitter
must be programmed to the receiver. Follow the brief instructions below or refer to the
detail instructions from the User’s Instructions to program the transmitter to the receiver.
To program the transmitter to the receiver unit:
1. Connect the receiver unit to 24VDC.
2. Press and hold the ‘Learn’ button in the receiver. The ‘ON’ LED will begin to flash.
3. Press one of the buttons on the transmitter for 1 second and release.
4. If a connection has been made, the ‘ON’ LED on the receiver will stop flashing.
3. OPERATION
Press the button for 1 second and then release, this will activate the “learned” receiver.
4. BATTERY
The remote transmitter operates on two AA batteries.
Recommendation: Test your transmitter periodically to ensure that the battery is working.
5. WARRANTY
If, within one year from date of purchase, this product should become defective (except
battery), due to faulty workmanship or materials, it will be repaired or replaced, without
charge. Proof of purchase is required.
6. FCC
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device
must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur
in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the

user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
� Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
� Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
� Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
� Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
7. ISED
This device complies with Industry Canada’s licence-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause interference; and (2) This
device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired
operation of the device.
