Battery InstallationPress battery cover release area (1) and the battery cover pops loose. Removethe battery cover and insert batteries, then replace the cover.The mouse goes into standby mode after several minutes of inactivity. Thisextends the battery life of the mouse. Wireless InstallationTo establish a wireless connection: The mouse must be turned on (with batteries) and the USB receiver pluggedinto your computer, then press the connect button on the receiver (1). Nextpush the connect button on the bottom of the mouse (2). If this does not work,try repeating these steps, but hold the mouse closer to the receiver. This stepmay need to be repeated 2–3 times for the mouse to synchronize.Repeat this procedure when replacing the batteries.IMPORTANT: This wireless device is similar to an FM radio, by adjustingthe antenna you can get better reception.
