ACECAD Bluetooth Speed Dial Controller SD1 for Android / BlackBerry Smartphone User’s Manual Use the Bluetooth Speed Dial Controller SD1 to make a call to a speed contact without touching your Android / BlackBerry Smartphone when driving, walking or working.  Installing the Battery into the Controller 1.  Open the battery cover on the back of the controller. 2.  Install the button cell battery (CR2032) into the battery compartment.   3.  Close the battery cover. Pairing the Bluetooth Controller with your phone Before you can use the Controller with your phone, it has to be paired once with your phone. 1.  Press and hold the (1) and (8) button on the Controller (about 5 seconds) until the indicator on the Controller slowly flashes. 2.  Prepare your phone according to the phone user guide on how to add a Bluetooth device. The device name of the Controller is “ACECAD SD1 Controller”. Enter the Controller PIN code (0000). 3.  When successfully paired, the indicator light on the Controller will be turned off. Installing the Remote Speed Dial App to Your Phone For Android or BlackBerry Smartphone Use “ACECAD” or “Remote Speed Dial” word to search for Remote Speed Dial App in Google Play or the BlackBerry App World on your phone. Free install the software to your phone. Tip!  Please refer to your phone’s user guide for the location of installed software. Assign a phone number to one Speed Dial button for the Controller 1.  Select the “Remote Speed Dial” app to start it in your phone. 2.  Press/select any one button (1~9) on your phone’s screen. 3.  From your Contacts in your phone, select one speed contact and then his phone number for the selected button on screen which is also assigned to the same number button on the Controller. 4.  Repeat the steps 2~3, for the other button on screen and the same number button on the Controller. Make a speed dial from Speed Dial Controller 1.  Press the button (1~9) on the Speed Dial Controller about 1 second, until the indicator on the Controller rapidly flashes. 2.  Your phone will dial the contact’s phone number which you have assigned in the Remote Speed Dial App.
