This System allows more efficient utilization of floor space in facilities by eliminating the need for a bathroom in each room. Features • Fail safe system - doors will unlock when power is removed • Free egress at all times • User privacy • Eliminates accidental lock-out of either room to the bathroom • Mechanical key override allows personnel to enter during an emergency • 1400-6100 Power supply provided Options (not included) • Series 6100 System will require one of the following electric locking devices: A (2) Mortise locks with ACSI 1510C-00-124VDC/AC modifications plus (2) ACSI Series 1100 Electric Hinges B (2) Cylindrical locks with ACSI 1510C-00-124VDC/AC modifications plus (2) ACSI Series 1100 electric Hinges C (2) 8500-M-PL-24VAC/AC Gemini Locking Systems • 1320-1 pushbutton switch, normally closed, located above outside doors (used for emergency release). Note: Electric Lock/Electric Hinge option and the Gemini option are not included in the Series 6100 price. 4 Push button to lock doors. There will be a lock button at door 1 & door 2 on the inside of the bathroom. Both doors will unlock automatically when one of the two is opened. They will remain unlocked until the “push to lock” button is pushed. 3 2 1 5 When bathroom is in use the occupied light will come on. Specify one of the following options: • M1510C-00-1-24VDC/AC* • C1510C-00-1-24VDC/AC* • 8500-M1-PL-24VDC/AC* Electric hinges, Model 1104 (Not required on 8500 locking device) Indicators marked “Occupied” Pushbuttons with indicator marked “Push to Lock” Door position sensors 1400-6100 Power Supply, 24VDC @ 2 amp (not pictured) Description of System Function When the bathroom is not occupied, both doors are unlocked, and all indicators are extinguished. Upon entering the bathroom from one of the rooms, the occupant depresses the inside push-button switch to lock both doors (both doors must be closed in order for them to lock). When the doors lock, the red indicators inside the bathroom indicate that both doors are locked from the outside. The green indicators outside the bathroom denote that the bathroom is occupied. (Note: Both doors are always free egress and can always be unlocked mechanically from the outside with a key). When the occupant exits either door, both doors automatically return to the unlocked condition and all indicators are extinguished. Note: Electric Hinge option is not included in the Series 6100 price. Consult factory for pricing. ELECTRIC LOCKING DEVICE REQUIRED The Series 6100 System requires one of the following options: A. (2) M1510C-00-1-24VAC (Electric Mortise Locks) B. (2) C1510C-00-1-24VAC (Electric Cylindrical Locks) C. (2) 8500-ML-PL-24VAC (Gemini Locking System) Note: Specify lock manufacturer being used; i.e., Schlage, Corbin, Sargent, Yale, etc. Note: Electric Lock/Electric Hinge option and the Gemini option are not included in the Series 6100 price. 3. 1104 ELECTRIC HINGES Series 6100 System requires (2) ACSI Series 1104 electric hinges if options A or B are supplied. Please specify manufacturer, weight, size and finish of the hinge required.
