2. Precautions

4. SR 61 Receiver
The SR 0] is a stationary True Microcantralled Diversity receiver
for use With WMS OI transmitters. The SR Cl operates in a sub
band up to 4 MHZ wide of the l38 MHz to 250 MHz VHF
carrier irequency range. The SR at can be switched to a t’th'
mum at l5 dillerent carrier lrequencies depending on local Ire
quency allocations.
4.1. Controls
4.1.1. Front Panel
The lettering ol the front panel controls is protected against scratch

to POWER: Switches the power to the SR ol ON and OFF
lb VOLUME: The VOLUME pat matches the SR at ’s output level
to the input sensitivity at your mixer or omplilier.
lc SQUELCH: The automatic squelch circuit mules the receiver it
the received signal is too weak or the transmitter watched all,
effectively suppressing the audible naise caused by an exces-
sive drop in received signal strength. The squelch circuit tS
controlled by a pilot frequency in the transmitter signal and
therefore needs no useradiustoble control.
ld CHANNEL: This rotary switch selects the desired carrier he
