The monitor and computer are automatically set to sleep after 8 and 30 minutes of user

1. Safety Instructions
1. Please read these safety instructions carefully.
2. Please keep this User's Manual for reference.
3. Please disconnect this equipment from its power source
before cleaning. Don't use liquid or sprayed detergent for cleaning. Use a lightly moistened
sheet or cloth for cleaning.
4. Make sure the equipment is connected to the power source with the correct voltage,
frequency and amperage.
5. All cautions and warnings on the equipment should be noted and followed.
6. Never pour any liquid into any opening of this equipment; this could cause fire or electrical
shock.
7. Never disassemble the equipment. For safety reasons, the equipment should only be
handled by qualified service personnel.
8. If one of the following situations arises, get the equipment checked by service personnel:
a. Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
b. The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
c. The equipment has not worked well or you cannot get it to work according to user's
manual.
d. The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
e. The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
9. Caution on use of battery: Use the battery recommended by the manufacturer or the same
type of battery installed by the
manufacturer. If the incorrect battery is used, it may cause an explosion or can present a fire
hazard. Recycle or discard used batteries according the manufacturer's instruction or your
local authority.
10. Ambient operating temperature for this equipment is: 0~ 40 degrees Celsius. (32~104
degrees Fahrenheit)

Risk of Overheating!
a. Do not install Chromebase Commercial in an enclosed space.
b. Be sure the heat sink that is on the top side of the Chromebase Commercial has at least
2 cm of clear space for thermal holes.
c. Do not place any objects on the top side of Chromebase Commercial

3-2. Getting to know your Chromebase Commercial
Please use attached
tool or paper clip
to insert into
labeled holes
to amend the following
settings.
Power ON/OFF
Brightness Up
Brightness Down
Power button
The power button allows you to turn the Chromebase
Commercial on or off. You can use the power button to put
your Chromebase Commercial to sleep mode or hold the clip in
the power button for four (4) seconds to force shutdown your
Chromebase Commercial.
Brightness button
The Brightness button allows you to adjust the brightness levels
of the Chromebase Commercial.
When you install devices or cables, please ensure that DC plug is removed
prior to plugging in powered devices.
IMPORTANT!
Forcing the system to restart may result in data loss.
We strongly recommend that you back up your data
regularly.

Kensington security Lock
The Kensington security slot allows you to secure your
Chromebase using Kensington® security products.
VESA Hole
The VESA standard defines dimensions of a display's four-hole.
The Chromebase Commercial VESA 100x100mm hole allows you to screw
in M4 (Deep 3.5mm) products.

Air vent holes
The air vent holes allow cooler air to enter your Chromebase Commercial
chassis.
USB 2.0. These ports also support the Battery Charging 1.2 technology
that allows you to charge your USB devices.
Power input
The supplied power adapter converts AC power to DC power for use with
this jack. Power supplied through this jack supplies power to the
Chromebase Commercial. To prevent damage to the Chromebase
Commercial, always use the supplied power adapter.
Remove I/O Cover
WARNING!
The power adapter may become warm to hot when in use. Do not
cover the adapter and keep it away from your body.

HDMI port
The HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) port supports a Full-HD
device such as an LCD TV or monitor to allow viewing on a larger external
display.
LAN port
The 8-pin RJ-45 LAN port supports a standard Ethernet cable for
connection to a local network.
Headphone/Mic Audio Out/In jack
The stereo headphone jack is used to connect the system's
audio out signal to amplified speakers (headphones)
or Microphone.

Getting started
Connect the AC power adapter to your Chromebase Commercial:
Plug the AC power cord into a 100 V~240 V power source.
• Connect the DC power connector into your Chromebase
Commercial
(DC) input port.
IMPORTANT!
• Use only recommended adapter and cable that came with your
Chromebase Commercial.
• We strongly recommend that you use a grounded wall socket
while using your Chromebase Commercial.
• The socket outlet must be easily accessible and near your
Chromebase Commercial.
• To disconnect your Chromebase Commercial from its main
power supply, unplug your Chromebase
Commercial from the power socket.
NOTE:
Power adapter information:
• Input voltage: 100-240 Vac
• Input frequency: 50-60 Hz
• Rating output current: 4.74A (90 W)

Wall Mount Kit Assembly
1. Fix the wall-mount bracket onto the wall.
2. Place the VESA bracket onto the VESA mounting holes on the system and fasten the
screws (x4).
3. Align the VESA bracket with the system into the wall mount bracket and make sure they
are well connected.
