In order to get the most out or your experience with Code Red we highly recommend that you sign in to as many of the social network choices that are relevant to your situation. SECTION 2 ARNU Box-ANDROID Google This is by far the most important Slgri in. Signing into Google at launch wrll allow the ARNU Box Android to integrate your login Info with the Google Play Store and other Google features 1. Choose Google and select Existing or New 2. Ir you have a Small account select existing and enter your email address and password using the on-screen keyboard 3. Use next on the keyboard to move to the password field 4. Once completed select ok 5 After sign In use the directional buttons to select choices as [a whether you want to back up your googie account and receive notices. 6. Highllght the grey arrow (it will have a white outline when highlighted) and press OK 7. Adding a credit card, This is an optional step and only needed ii you plan to purchase apps and media on Google Play. a. You should see a green check mark next to Google Facebook signing in to Facebook will allow you to view information from your wall submitted by yourfnends,Thls includes integration orpictures and video. 1. Select Facebook and press ox 2. Press the ok button again to highlight connect to Facebook If Facebook does not launch initially repeat the process. 3. Use the directional buttons and onscreen keyboard to enter your Facebook email address and press done 7. Enter your password and press done 3. Permit CodeRed to access your pu olic profile and select 0K Vi ne This will populate thehlmstrip with vine's short videos Instagram Do you love seeing what people are seeing, cooking etc Add lnstagram to your filmstrip and enioy lire over the shoulder oi your social network. 09 SECTION 2 ARNU Box -ANDROID Menu Interface My Videos: Access locally stored videos or Videos from a networked hard drive or SD card My Pictures: Access locally stored pictures or pictures rrom a networked hard drive or SD card My Music: Access locally stored music or music rrom a networked hard drive or SD Card Edit Feeds: Access the Filmstrlpfeeds and add ordrop reeds ham the Filmstrlpc Edit Layout: Allows users to add Widgets by selecting open spaces in the top right corner, change background images, edit the Filmstrlp and remove apps from the launch area, Navigate the screen using the remote directional buttons. Settings: Accesses basic Android Settings Help: Access the ARNU Box Forum Board Via the Web Browser Adding Android Apps on Code Red rriienairimni- In order to add Android apps to the code Red Launch area at the bottom or the screen naVigate to the plus sign in the lelt hand corner or the screen. Select this and press OK. Once in the Android menu select your preferred apps and press OK. SECTION 2 ARNU Box - ANDROID 2.4 Toggling Between Internet Options Ethernet and Wifi Durlng the Initial setup or your ARNU Box Android setstop box you have a choice to set up the box using the device'sWi-Fi or a hard ered Ethernet connection, lryou choose one option you can change the internet connectivity method at a later time. Just follow these directions. Turning off a Wifi Connection and Activating and Ethernet Connection 1. From the main context menu, on the upper left hand orthe screen, highlight settings using the directional buttons and press OK 2. Press the rightdirectional button once to the rightand once up to select the “ON" panel 3. Press Bk [0 turn the WIVFI OFF 4. Insert a working network cable into the Ethernet port on the back of the device. 5. Insert the other end of the network cable into an open port on an internet connected router 5. Press the reverse arrow button located above the volume controls 7. Using the direction buttons highlight Ethernet and press ok a.
