WIRELESS REMOTE (ENGLISH) Thank you for purchasing the Mad Catz Wireless Remote for use with the Wii video game system. Be sure to register your product online at www.madcatz.com and check out ourfull line of other quality video game accessories. IMPORTANT! Before using the Wii with this product, read the Wii instruction manual for safety, health, and other information regarding the use of the Wii. GENERAL SETUP 1. Insert fresh batteries into the battery compartment. 2. Sync the Remote with the Wii console as described below if needed. 3. Attach the wrist strap to the loop found at the bottom of the Remote. 4. Insert hand through wrist strap and hold Remote firmly. 5. Move the strap's slider towards your wrist to ensure a secure fit. 6. The Remote is ready for use. SYNCHRONIZING THE REMOTE There are two (2) ways to sync the Remote with the Wii console: using the Wii's SYNC button, and using the Wii's HOME Menu. A) Using the Wii's SYNC button 1. Power ON the Wii console. 2. Open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii to reveal the console's SYNC button 3. Remove the Remote's battery coverto reveal its SYNC button. 4. Press and release the Wii's SYNC button. 5. Press and release the Remote's SYNC button. 8. Once a wireless connection between the Wii console and the Remote has been successfully established, the Remote's player indicator LED will illuminate solid blue. The illuminated LED indicates that Remote's player number, one through four (1-4). 7. Re-attach the Remote's battery cover. 8. Repeat for additional Remotes. B) Using the Wii's HOME Menu 1. Using a Remote that is already synchronized with the Wii console, press the Remote's HOME button. 2. Select the "Wii Remote Settings" option from the HOME Menu. 3. Select the "Reconnect" option. 4 Simultaneously press and release the "l" and "2" buttons on the Remote. If you are syncing multiple Remotes, press and release the"1" and"2" buttons on each Remote in the order you want them synced. This order WIll determine the Remote’ 5 player number, one through four (1-4). 5. Once a wireless connection between the Wii console and the Remote(s) has been successfully established, the player indicator LED on each Remote will illuminate solid blue. The illuminated LED indicates that Remote's player number, one through four (1—4). Make sure that cords are not placed in a position or areas where they may become pinched or damaged. - Do not wrap cords around any part of anyone's body. - Do not allow children to play with cords. - Misuse of batteries within this unit may cause baneriesto leak and/or explode and lead to personal injury. - This product contains small parts that may cause choking if swallowed. SEIZUHES Some individuals may have seizures or black outs triggered bythe flashing lights on television or in video games, even ifthey have never before had a seizure. Anyone who has had a seizure, loss of awareness, or other symptom linked to an epileptic condition should consult a doctor before playing a video game. Parents should be aware whentheir children play video games and observe them regularly. Stop playing and consult a doctor ifyou or your child have any olthe following symptoms: Convulsions Loss of awareness Involuntary movements Eye or muscle twitching Altered vision Disorientation When playing video games: 1. Sit or stand as far from the screen as possible. 2. Playvideo games on the smallest available screen. 3. Do not play if you are tired or need rest. 4. Play in a well-lighted room, 5. Take a IS-minute break every hour. REPE'HTIVE MOTION INJURIES Playing video games (and the repetitive motion involved) can make your muscles.ieints or skin hurt. Playing video games in moderation can help avoid such damage. Also: - Take a IIJ- to IS-minute break every hour, even if you don't think you need it. - If your hands,wrists or arms begin to hurt or feel sore ortired, stop playing and rest them for several hours before playing again. - If pain and soreness continues. stop playing and consult a doctor.
