The Bluetooth Headset is a wireless headphone developed with the latest Bluetooth Wireless Technology, which can connect to other Bluetooth devices such as the PS3, mobile phones, desktop or notebook computers, PDAs etc., within a range of 30 Ft. (9.15 meters). Contents - Bluetooth Headset - USB Charge Cable - Ear-hook Battery Charging The Headset comes with a rechargeable batterywhich is not fully charged when new. For iirsttime use, it takes 4 hours to fully charge the battery. Subsequent charges will take about 1 hour 45 minutes. With the battery fully charged, talk time will be 4 to 5 hours, and the stand-by time will be about 120 hours. 1. Plug the USB Charge Cable into an available USB port on your P53 or PC. L Connect the USB Charge Cable to the Headset as shown in the picture. The Red LED indicator of the Headset will turn on while charging. 3. When the battery is iinished charging, the Red LED indicator of the Headset will turn elf. Low Battery Indicator - When the Red LED indicator flashes slowly, it means the Headset's battery is low; the Headset will beep as a reminder to recharge. Button Functions - Call Button: Power flN/OFF. - Plus Button: Increase volume. - Minus Button: Decrease volume. Turning the Headset ON or OFF 1. To turn the Headset ON Press and hold the Call button until the Blue LED indicator appears, then release the button. The Blue LED indicator will flash and you should hear an audible beep. 2. To turn the Headset off, repeat the above directions. Pairing the Headset Pairing is a process oi associating Bluetooth devices with each other. It will establish a permanent security link between the devices and enable quick access to the services provided without the need to re-enter Pass Keys. You will only need to pair your PS3 and the Headset once. Paired devices remain paired even when: - One of the devices is powered oii. - A service connection is interrupted or stopped. - One or both devices are restarted. Pairing the Headset with the P83 Before the Headset can be used With the P83, the two devices must be 'paired' so they can communicate with each other. Use a gaming controller forthis procedure. 1. Power on your P83 console. 2. Within the “Settings" menu, press X on "Accessory Settings." 3. Press X on the icon labeled: “Manage Bluetooth Devices." 4. Press X on "Yes" to pair (register) the headset with the P53 system. 5. Ensure the USB Charge Cable is unplugged. 6. Once at the next screen, prepare the Headset to be paired with the P83 by holding down the Call button for 8 seconds. 7. Once the Headset' s LED indicator |s alternately flashing Blue and Red (indicating the Headset IS ready to be paired). press X on '.StartScanning.' (if another device |s paired or you are going through the pairing process again, choose ”Yes to ovewvrite the currently registered device and then choose “Start Scanning" l 8.
