The product is made conforming with all the applicable European
regulations.
The device (including its removable parts and accessories) must
not be disposed of together with municipal waste at the end of its
life, but in compliance with European Directive 2002/96/EC. Since
it must be handled separately from household waste, either carry it
to a separately-collected waste disposal center for electrical and
electronic appliances or give it back to be retailer on purchasing a
new device with the same purpose. Any infringement will be
severely prosecuted.
Vivitar One Year Warranty
This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not
transferable.
This warranty covers products that fail to function properly UNDER NORMAL
USAGE, due to defects in material or workmanship. Your product will be repaired
or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.
What Is Not Covered by Warranty
Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
and damages or malfunctions from other than normal use, including but limited
to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification or accident.

To receive Warranty service along with the name and address of an authorized
product service center, the original consumer purchaser must contact us for
problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of
a bill of sale or receipted invoice, evidencing that the Product is within the
applicable
Warranty period(s), MUST be presented in order to obtain the requested service.
It is your responsibility to properly package and send any defective products
along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written explanation of the
problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at your
expense. Do not include any other items or accessories with the defective
product. Any products received by the authorized service center that are not
covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.

Important Safety Precautions
When using your Bluetooth Speaker, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. Do not use this device near water. Clean using a dry or slightly moist cloth.
2. Do not place your speaker on any wet surfaces.
3. Do not allow children or the infirm to play with this speaker without adult
supervision.
4. Do not expose your speaker to excessive heat, flames or fire.
.
5. Always press all buttons carefully. Do not manhandle your speaker.
6. Do not use in extremely dry environments, as this can lead to static discharge
during usage.
7. Do not expose speaker to temperatures above 35°C. Keep out of direct
sunlight.
8. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Contact a qualified service
center if this speaker is in need of service.
9. Do not drop, puncture or expose your speaker to excessive trauma.
10. This speaker is not intended for commercial use.
11. Do not place near objects that generate a strong magnetic field.

Battery Information
The device is equipped with an integrated lithium-polymer battery. The battery
cannot be replaced. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device since
it would damage the device. The full performance of a new battery is not
achieved until after two or three complete charging-discharging cycles. The
battery can be charged and discharged several hundred times, but it loses its
capacity over time.
Disconnect the V1322BT from the power supply as soon as the battery is fully
charged, overcharging would reduce the service life of the battery. A charged

battery will lose its capacity if it is not used on a regular basis.
Important:
Ensure that the battery is fully charged if you do not use the device for a long
period of time. To avoid a complete discharge of the battery, the V1322BT should
be charged at least once every 6 months.
Charging Your Speaker
The V1322BT speaker is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. Charge
the battery completely before its first use. Read the section titled "Battery
information" in this manual before starting the charging process.
1) Connect one end of the included USB Charging Cable to your speaker’s
charging port.
2) Connect the other end of the USB Charging Cable to a USB port.
3) When your speaker is charging, the red LED indicator light will turn red. The
battery will take approximately three hours to fully charge
4) When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator light will turn off. Disconnect
the charging cable from your speaker and the outlet. Your speaker is ready to
use.
NOTES:
- Give your speaker a full charge before using for the first time.
- When the battery power is low, the indicator light will turn red and start to flash.
Turning ON Your Speaker
Before you can start using your speaker, you must first charge the rechargeable
battery. Once charged, slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to power on
your speaker.
If your speaker completed the pairing process successfully, when the speaker is
turned on, it will connect to the phone you last connected to automatically. Please
ensure your phone's Bluetooth® function is active.
Turning OFF Your Speaker
Slide the ON/OFF Switch to the OFF position to power down your device.
Note:To conserve power, if your speaker is not connected to a device for
approximately 10 minutes, it will turn off automatically.
Pairing Your Speaker to a Bluetooth Phone
Before you use your speaker the first time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth®
enabled mobile phone. Pairing is a one time process and required only for the first
connection with the Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone. The V1332BT can be
connected with two Bluetooth® enabled mobile phones simultaneously.
1) Keep the V1332BT within one meter range of a Bluetooth® enabled mobile
phone.
2) Slide the ON/OFF Switch to the ON position. The LED indicator light on your
speaker will illuminate, flashing red and blue alternately. The device is now in
pairing mode.
3) Find the Bluetooth® setting of your mobile phone and start the search for
Bluetooth® devices. (For further details, please read the operating instructions of
your mobile phone).
4) From the list of devices found, select your speaker “ Vivitar speaker ”.
5) If required, enter the PIN code "0000" and confirm the entry. Once the pairing
process was successful, the V1332BT will connect to your mobile phone
automatically then switch to standby mode. The LED light indicator light will turn
solid blue.
Note:- If pairing is not completed within 10 minutes, the speaker will turn off. If this
happens, please repeat the pairing steps.
Listening to Music on Your Speaker
Play/Pause
Press the Speaker button to get music from your audio source to play or
pause.
External Audio Input
The V1322BT has an AUX-IN port which can be used to connect an additional
audio source using the included 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable. When an audio source is
plugged in using the 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable, any music playing on your speaker
will pause and music playing from the plugged in audio source will play instead.
Note:
The V1322BT supports the A2DP profile which allows stereo music to stream
from a Bluetooth phone. The music will pause automatically if a call is incoming,
and resume when the call has ended.
Using Your Speaker during a Phone Call
Last number re-dialing
Press and hold the Speaker button for two seconds, and the last number you
dialed will be redialed.
Answering a call
Press the Speaker button to answer an incoming call.
Ending a call
Press the Speaker button to end a call.
