Veersion v0.4 1 De escription for Main n Function 1.1 Protocol It is designa ated to select either ISO//IEC 18000-6 6C or ISO/IEC 18000-6B , but ISO/IEC C 180006B is not avvailable at pre esent. It will be supportin ng in the near future. 1.2 Remotte control AT288N ca an be used by both Blue etooth and USB. For the e detailed innformation, Bluetooth Protocol ca an be set up among SPP P, HID. Also USB protoco ol can be sett up by eithe er VCP or HID. 1.2.1 Blue etooth BTH H SPP The connection can be avvailable usin ng Serial Prrofile Protoccol and Datta to be transsmitted will be b uploaded d to Serial Port (COM Po ort) of upperr level device. Upper levell device shou uld produce tthe additiona al program fo or utilizing thee transmitted d data. BTH H HID The connection can be ava ailable using g Human In nterface Devvice and Da ata to be transsmitted will be uploaded d on the cu ursor as like e Keyboard typing. Veersion v0.4 1.8 RFID Inventory Option 1.8.1 Sele ection Mask Neither random tag t only inve entories or all tags except for random m tags invento ory. 1.9 Firmwa are mode This mode can be possible to sset in state off power-off. To T work this mode, press s scan button and power key k simultane eously. Firmw ware update for AT288 iss available in n this mode and a pressing g the power kkey makes it revert to the e original statte. 1.10 UHF Update Mode (To Be Sup ported) To work this mode e, press RF Power Control Right Ke ey. Firmwaree for UHF Module is availab ble in this mo ode. 1.11 Auto power off For thiss function, de evice will be power-off affter designated time. 1.12 Memorry Access 1.12.1 Mem mory Read Thiss is the function to read th he tag by dire ectly accessiing the mem mory 1.12.2 Mem mory Write Thiss is the function to write th he tag by directly accessing the mem mory. 1.12.3 Mem mory Lock Thiss is the function to lock th e tag by dire ectly accessin ng the memoory. 1.12.4 Tag Kill Thiss is the function to kill the tag by direc ctly accessing g the memorry. If invento ory is in succ cess, scan LE ED will be flic ckered 2.3 SPP LE ED In state e of either BTH_SPP or USB_VCP, SPP LED will be turned oon . In state of either BTH_H HID or USB_HID, both LE EDs will be tu urned off. 2.4 RF Control Window w LED RF Control Window w LED is con nsisted of 11 1 pcs of LED D. For Short presses, it is s recognized d and operates when the e buttons aree released. For F Long presses, it is recognized and opera ates when the e button is pressed for m more than 2 seconds. For AT288 users s, please noote the key functions differe ently in AT288N since AT T288N only supports 6C. 3.2.1 Short Press Whe en C Key is pressed, diffe erent Invento ory Mode can n be selectedd. One Tag mode-> > Multi Tag m mode-> Unique Tag mode 3.2.2 Long g Press Long g press would enable or d Mode. disable the Beep 3.3 RF Pow wer Control Left Key There are two func ctions for RF F Power Conttrol Left Key.. 3.3.1 Short Press RF power can be b adjusted. 1dBm is de ecreased perr press. Thee minimum RF R power that can be set is s 11dBm. 3.3.2 Long g Press Rem mote Protocol can be sele ected by lon ng press. If COM PORT setting is USB, USB proto ocols will be selected. If C COM PORT setting is BT T, BT protocools will be se elected. It will take 3.5 seco onds to applyy the mode changes. In n this mode, the firmware e of UHF Sennsor can be updated. 3.5 Multi/O One Key No function has been applied yyet. 3.6 BT/USB Key Data transmit mod de can be sellected with BT/USB Key. The selecteed mode is shown via BT/USB LED on th he device. Th he mode cha ange (change e in LED) is applied two seconds after th he BT/USB Key is presssed. No other modes will w be changged during th hese two second ds. 3.7 Scan Button Run Inventory. Oth her buttons d o not operate while Scan n button is beeing pressed d. 3.8 Firmwa are mode Firmwa are mode ca an be entere ed by pressin ng the power key while S Scan button is being presse ed. Firmware mode can o only when the e device is tu urned off. Beep There are beep sounds s only when Beep Mode e is enabled. The Beep mode is cha anged by pressing C Key. If the Beep Mode is disabled, there will be e no sounds at all. Beep sound is operated when Power On/Off, Rem ote connection/disconnection, Buttonn press and Inventory is successfful.
