 Manual  1. MUTE Button     Press and release MUTE button to turn off the audio for any alert. When an audio alert is sounded, you can silence the alarm by pressing MUTE button.    Press MUTE button again to turn on the audio alert.  2. Mark Alert(MA)Button  Press and release MARK ALERT(MA) button to memory the location you have selected. This location is stored in the memory and give an audio alert when you pass the marked location.  3. Mark Mute(MM) Button         Press and release MARK MUTE(MM) button to mute the location you have selected. This location is stored in the memory and mute an audio alert when you pass the marked location  4. Volume Up(+) Button                  Press Volume Up button to increase the audio volume.  5. Volume Down(-) Button    Press Volume down button to decrease the audio volume.  6. CITY/HIGHWAY Button  City mode reduces the annoyance of false alerts typically encountered in urban driving areas.
Highway mode provides full audio warning any time radar(X, K, Ka) or   laser signals are detected, and is recommended for open road driving.    7.  POWER Button                  Press and release the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.  8. MENU Button             Pr ess the MENU button to enter menu mode.  9. DIM Button             Pr ess the DIM button to control LED brightness.  10. QUIET RIDE Button                    Press this button to mute the audio under selected speed.  INSTALLATION  Mounting Guidelines  • Mount the RCU near the driver’s seat or host board.  • Do not mount your unit behind any objects. These obstructions have metal surfaces which can affect communication with host board.  • To reduce the possibility of theft, conceal your unit when not in use.  • Make sure the mounting location you have chosen is relatively level and is clean and dry. Clean with isopropyl alcohol if necessary to remove any waxes or polishes.  • Separate the fastener strips. Peel the paper backing off each strip and adhere one piece to the place and the other piece to the bottom of the unit.
Battery Replacement  The battery is equipped with the unit. To replace the battery, carefully open the battery door.
